Glad it's back. It's a 16 episode season too.

Hope they can keep the pace up for that many episodes, although I don't think it'll be too much of a challenge.

Can't wait, might be Tuesday for me though, got the Vicar coming for dinner tomorrow.
Force the Vicar to watch it!!! May help debunk some of his silly stories when he sees what really happens when you die.....

And before we all start shouting across the pond at each other, or at the guys streaming it, should we either have two threads, one US and one UK (Won't work and incredibly repetitive) or just not discuss the actual episode (with or without spoilers) until aired in the UK?

If people then choose to follow the thread and read spoilers, well????

No need to force, we're good - as far as he's concerned the walkers aren't people - the person has died, their soul left their earthly body and ascended, what remains is no more a person than if someone used strings to manipulate a corpse or slightly more gory the twitches of the recently deceased.

No, as it was being shown 24 hours later, it was 'agreed' last season that people wouldnt post until it had been aired in the UK

This comes up a lot, and frankly I'm one of the most vocal - see the Big Bang Theory thread for how bad it can get when the 10% of Torrent / Streamers make camp in a thread about a TV show that doesn't air in the UK for months after the US and ruin it for the 90% of legal viewers..

But anyway, my stance has always been this - PH is a UK forum, it has an international readership, but it is a UK forum (shed of the week doesn't involve Dollars, Euros or Drachma) and as the gap between US and UK is less than 24 hours there should be a total embargo on discussion of specific plot points until that moment has been aired in the UK. This means everyone can post during the show if they wish - DID YOU SEE THAT! etc after that, well if you haven't had a chance to watch it on Sky+ or whatever and you dive into a thread about it, well, you should have seen that coming.

Spoiler tags don't worth either - it just becomes farcical with 4 quote posts all hidden behind spoiler blocks with no easy way to know what it's about until you read it.

If the Knock-off Nigel's or US posters have issue with that, then I'm sure there are plenty of US forums to use if they can't hold their tongue/fingers for 20 hours or whatever the gap is.

I did a bit of a comic book binge and am now ahead of the TV show. I wish I'd waited for the show first and followed the story at similar paces but they do differ plenty so should still be very interesting.

What about ex pats in Sweden that have nobody else to discuss the show with hehe

Ok, I'll just watch it and wait until I see UK based posters chatting about it before I say anything.
