I haven't read the books either, but I did check out why the plot in LL series 2 seemed a bit off and there was a reason behind it i.e the TV version had a major change vs the book. And the plot they bought in then chopped short is the one from the film so how it was supposed to be was obvious, and an obvious waste of a decent plot.

The books are excellent and really go into the detail of the trial process and his tactics. They can't really include this in the show and instead fill time with all this wedding and mothers visit nonsense. I still enjoyed it though and the lead is very good.

This new Bosch story is based on a book which features the LL. Shame he can’t be in it.

You’re right, me too - Prime Germany for me.
Guess they’ll be released in phases, rather than allowing us to binge through Friday night/ Saturday am.

Binged watched the first four episodes tonight very good, pity Lance Reddick is not in it anymore(RIP). Mimi Rogers character is growing on me looking forward to the rest of the season

The point I was trying to make is that the first couple of episodes were so well done, it was quite disturbing to watch.

Tried first episode of season 1 having been a massive fan of all the original series. Couldn't get into it, does it get better?
