I enjoyed the Volvo P1800 episode especially at the end with Roger Moore.

Anyone know where the Range Rover drive was filmed? Where they drive the 3 door and the new FF

Great little car and a most deserving recipient - if it were mine, the first thing I'd do is change those awful wheels! What on earth possessed Tim that that neon colour was OK for a man of such an age! (or any age..)

Those wheels vomit. I don't know if I like that Tim or not; he seems an okay one minute then he acts out those stupid scripted scenes like wazzing his Isuzu into an empty garage and pratting about with eggs in jars.

I'm not fussed too much by this series overall, I do like what they do, but its not a "must watch" for me in the same vein as other car shows.

I did however have a little tingle when they did that 2002 turbo which I caught the other night.

one on the eBay for £70k right now...

Well given that the bloke's saved all the money he'd budgeted for doing up the car I suppose he can stick those horrors on eBay and put a couple of hundred quid towards some better wheels.

I can only add to the screams of "the wheels, the wheels" - rest of the car was lovely, it's a shame though that they couldn't go for a full engine rebuild, strapping an new turbo on an tired engine seems a bit of a waste, either way it might be a bit of a waste for him, he's not a fast driver it seems. I bet he's seen his share of horrible car crashes so I can understand why.

Still love the series, but like so many of these types of things to broaden the appeal each episode seems to be less spannering and more 'tragic back story' and Tim acting the 'full brewer'.

A Singer Le Mans was the car restored last night albeit not a full job as the paintwork was not resprayed due to time limitations. It still looked very good nonetheless. I have special affinity for this car as it was the first sports car I went in at the age of 6 courtesy of my uncle. He's now 102 and lives in Montana . Where the Le Mans is I have no idea.

Enjoyed the show as always, but I was a bit perturbed by what they did with the wheels.

I always thought that wire wheels had to be checked carefully, new spokes added and tensioned as necessary and then trued - not just given a lick of paint to pretty them up.

(Of course they may well have done this but decided not to include the footage).

That was exactly my issue with this episode. When they've done wire wheels on Wheeler Dealers they provided all new spokes.

Funny I thought exactly the same thing about the wire wheels and the place they took them too really did not look like a specialist in that type of wheel based on all the other wheels they had there. Maybe that's wrong but it looked like a placed that dealt in modern wheel refurb and I would just not expect such a place to know much about old wire wheels.

Anyway nice car though it was a shame they did not do the paint work as on the initial close ups it had a lot of flaws. It did look great when done but I wonder how it would stand up to close examination in the flesh. It just seems a shame to do all that work and not give it a fresh paint job. I don't really buy the time explanation so I wonder if there was another reason for not ding it. The whole limited thing is entirely contrived. Tim walking past the Volvo P1800 at one point gives the game away some what.

I guess the family has to take some of the blame, if they only gave them a week to finish the car (if that was true, and not for the benefit of added drama..)

just watched the Astra GTE episode - loved it!!

Really nice to see a car that had all but dropped off my radar getting the SOS treatment, and as ever a proper touching back story.

Made me feel a bit old though, only 30 left on the road?! I remember when the white one up our street had its wheels nicked over night. First car I saw 'up on bricks'.

I enjoyed the Astra episode as well. Didn't realise that there were so few left on the road.

Another good episode, really enjoyed it. Head and shoulders above WD at the moment and that mini shell looked stunning when Fuzz had it on the ramp partially rebuilt. Nice reaction from the guy during handover. Never was a Mini fan but definitely leaning towards them now!

That's odd as Sky had it down as a Mini Cooper S which it was. It's available on Sky Demand and its repeated several times. Great rebuild but Tim Shaw's blagging of parts is really starting to grate. Next week they have a 65 Mustang and are revisiting some of their previous ventures. Is there going to be another series?
