that Mary-Louise Parker looking good at 52.

Some great characters introduced, really enjoyed it, very under rated but seems to be doing well now.

Thought it was a great episode and really set the tone of whats to come next. It's great how they both have things on each other that they're keeping back too, so I await the fireworks of next season biggrin

After Chuck seeing the photos of Wendy I have a feeling he won't care if she goes down with Ax considering how ruthless he's been to his dad and friend!

Very interesting setup for next season...

Lara going against Axe, as I thought possible, earlier?

Chuck will turn into a real monster and can see him ending up jobless and penniless!

Perhaps both of them.

Taylor also getting the taste for Axe's world and could turn 'bad'?

No problem, anti-climatic probably wasn't the best description of the episode anyway. It was good but it felt like the previous episode was more of a finale episode if you see what I mean?

Taylor vs Axe at some point I would guess. I think Taylor may do very well as CIO, and so not want to hand the company back to Ax.

I think this show is great but this seemed a bit unrealistic to me (even before he didn't turn up after phoning her). They are supposed to have been together for years and after he told her one lie about it being his decision not to have sessions with Wendy she suddenly hates him.

Excellent episode, loved it, some subtle changes going on, I am sure the cuckolding will have an effect on Chuck

The relationship reminded me of Batman and Joker...and of something else, I have in mind two people fighting who continue it even beyond the interest of their allies, who leave them both to it.

I can see Chuck becoming too dark, and maybe the desire being the end of him.

From my reading of PH over the years this would be entirely standard behaviour biggrin

Wasn't there a scene a few episodes prior, where Lara was saying she would never put up with anyone lying to her again- something that happened in the past to her.

If only Lara still had access to those deleted voicemails. laugh

I think the whole thing will end with Chuck 'winning' in that he'll destroy Axe Capital and put lots of people in jail however really he will have lost because his dad will have died, his wife will have left him for good and he'll have no friends. He really is a man obsessed.

I'm really not great with people lying to me either but if my wife tells me she's emptied the dishwasher and she hasn't, I'm not going to turn into a double crossing tosser over it.

Lara has went from a character I used to cheer for to one I really don't like very much at all.

I think it was fairly clear right from the start that Lara was just as hard nosed and ballsy as Ax. The problem was she just had different 'talents'!

Were there not several scenes where it has been shown that she effectively came from a very rough background and the 'wrong' part of town compared to where she is now? And in knowing that, she has made it clear ages ago that she would do absolutely anything to protect her position. That always mean her position with Ax but now he is in a spiral, it is being clarified to mean her 'own' position regardless of Ax?

Anybody remember the book about 9/11 where Ax was being slated by one of the widows? The author/widow had her country club membership cancelled and loads of cr4p rained down on her until she twigged and removed everything bad or suggestive against Ax from the book? All at the hands of Lara. Hard as nails and ballsy.... right from the off!!!
