I thought Gregor stayed with Axe?
Also, why was ubernerd sadface with Taylor, how come they are over?

In an earlier episode Axe uses Taylor and Oscar's (ubernerd) relationship for profit.
Taylor asks Axe to get them a reservation at a restaurant, Oscar was investing in 'science thing'. Axe asked how dinner went and Taylor mentioned the 'science' guys name. Axe then used the information for a VC play and Oscar didn't get to invest.

I've loved everything about this season and this finale was brilliant..
I called the twist with the AG but I reckon it was planned by Chuck to execute as it did. Chuck needed to be fired so that he was clear of his promise. Just like Wendy said at the end, nobody is better at strategy than Chuck or something like that. Chuck's dismissal could be a ruse and they're all in on it.
Either way, Chuck still has a friend in the Mayor who he endorsed and you can guarantee that others will dislike Justice and will back Chuck for attempting to take him down.
The one thing I didn't like was Taylor took Grigor's money. Taylor was against Axe taking it from the start so for Mase Cap to take it seems farfetched UNLESS it's Taylor's insurance policy.
This is bang on IMO. I couldn't understand how Sacker stabbed him, along with Connoly after bar scene. Honestly thought they'd all turn on the AG when in the Office, so well this may well play out this way in next series. Chuck now also has unprecedented access to Axe, so again could also take him down laterI called the twist with the AG but I reckon it was planned by Chuck to execute as it did. Re Taylor taking the Russians money, possibly tried to bow Axes's chances through the environmental tack, knowing she would court Gregor later. Besyt series on TV by country mile. The acting is off the planet.
Ref Sacker turning on Chuck.
When he confided in her, he was going after the AG, Chuck asked her if he could speak to her father who knew the business.
Sacker categorically did not want her father involved, Chuck said he respected that, then went behind her back and spoke to him anyway.

I recall that, also she squared it off saying she could accept what happened but that it might bite Chuck in the future.
But from the info we have on people's motivations, I feel that what Sacker did was inconsistent and it feels like weak writing. She has a huge virtuous streak, and she knows what the texacan AG is, and that's why she was willing to do what she did aiding Chuck, but to do a 180° like she did, didn't compute.

When Chuck went behind her back and she called him out on it he said something about her political motivations and she replied that it may come back to bite him one day. That's what she repeated to him. She wants to run for a political office and I she saw an opportunity to get a political heavy weight on her side, assuming in return he will help her with her political ambitions.
I like the idea above the Chuck engineered it. It was kind of alluded to. The other DA said he had no dirt and Chuck said he had done a through vet on him and found nothing. He must have guessed someone like that wouldn't want to be part of it and would turn on him
When does S4 start? :-)
Hope the writers have taken note. First 3 episodes had loads of the wife in, weren't great. Rest of the series without her hardly at all were brilliant.

What a great ending to the series, next one is geared up to be immense!
How does Axe fk over Taylor without having Gregor after him for his money?! I think Chuck and Axe will form a formidable partnership too and both climb back through the top now the gloves are off!!
Best thing on TV by a mile

I don't think it was part of Chuck's plan. Neither him or Sacker could know Brian was looking into the FBI and predict that he'd approach Sacker in the bar to say he was going to take Chuck down. Chuck chewing out Brian in the office was genuine and Brian saw an opportunity to stick the knife in once Sacker told him Chuck was going to take down the AG. I did find it odd that she would tell him what Chuck was up to knowing he must still be smarting from the bking Chuck gave him thus making him a liability, the question is was it deliberate or naivety.
Sacker is ambitious and has gone with the strongest position at this time. The AG and the rest would have confronted her and it was either go with them or throw herself under the bus with Chuck.
Season 4 - Axe and Chuck mess people up and then the writers can decide on if they defeat both Taylor and the AG or turn on each other in the future.
Fantastic series and the best thing on TV.

Feel the same. The bar scene threw it, was genuine and made no sense for Sacker to betray Chuck. If there had not been that bar scene then it would have been more believable that Sacker was chasing the rainbow as regards next career move. She also dislikes Connoly, felt smarted when rebuffed earlier on in the previous series. Twist too many there IMV.But from the info we have on people's motivations, I feel that what Sacker did was inconsistent and it feels like weak writing. Wowsers, what a brilliant programme, have to agree with others that it's the best thing on TV by a country mile. Some of the dialogue passes me by with its pop culture refs that are solely American in nature but the rest of it is uber brilliant. Acting is fantastic and the consistent backward and forward looking writing is very clever. During the first couple of eps I genuinely thought they'd screwed this great proframme up and had run out of ideas then boom they were back on track.
The introduction of Malkovich was the only sour note for me, he's too hammy an actor for my liking and the programme doesn't need a "giant" like him when everyone else is so brilliant.
In the middle eps I didn't like the way every single character had become nasty with few redeeming features (even Mrs Chuck) but I got it towards the end, the series needed to take this turn.
I saw the betrayal of Chuck coming but was surprised Connaty was involved in it, him being the only one left still sort of clinging to his principles in a way. But I can see that whole scene being reversed in the next series. It could indeed be part of the long game at which Chuck is so brilliant. It's gonna be such a long wait til the next series.
