Listen newbie. This is how this forum works. You weren't even here for the last series, or indeed the five before it.

If you don't like it feel free to express your amazement at how awesome it is in another forum on the internet for there are many. Alternatively post away and get banned by the mod above.

Just what is the point in posting wow it's mega or Christ it's st anyway? If you are not going to discuss anything substantive just don't fking bother.

Sheesh.
Time of the month, horney?
That's nothing. You should see him in the Liverpool footy thread when they lose hehewink

You are right of course but it was de rigueur for the Top Gear thread - even before the episode was shown!
It's always the case with big shows, even when the convention has been there for years, like a nervous dog that feels the need to piss on everything. biggrin

If anyone is looking for a detailed recap of what has happened in each of the TV seasons to date (up to season 4 so far), this is a good Youtube channel:

Season 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bH6VN_Gc_o

He's up to season 4 so far, hopefully he'll get 5 and 6 done this week.

The rules have been clear for years, wait until the 9pm time for the UK screening.

I'll still bet some retard comes on to appraise it, and get banned. hehe
Yeah, God forbid that people want to actually talk about a programme that has already aired on a TV discussion forum. rolleyes

Or people that just can't hold off from posting spoilers could create a thread with 'contains spoilers' in the title? Not difficult is it.
Tried that, it was immediately removed and I got a temporary ban from TV, Film & Radio. rolleyes

Yep, because that makes total sense. I guess that's why every other thread in the TV forum has a rule that you wait for the second showing of a programme before talking about it. rolleyes

rofl
there's not enough rolleyes in the world for someone of that character.

This was 4wheldrift some time ago.

Season Seven gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until episode 7. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die monitoring other people's posts. I am the delete button in the darkness. I am the Mod on the circuit. I am the Moderating shield that guards the realms of the TV, film and radio forum. I pledge my life and honour to the PH Night's Watch, for this season and all the seasons to come.

It seems Youtube is going to be one to avoid too. Ive watched a few things on there today and every time its been a GoT ad at the start. Just a WW face, but no doubt as this season goes on more will be given away.

Daily Mail and the like also have a habit, I think I can recall people grumbling, that they stick story elements in their banners on the MOnday. biggrin

I won't be looking at the thread, however myself and the other moderators who enjoy GoT may see an abuse report of a spoiler that is sent in and if that happens I will ban people from PH.
Ooh, get you.

Or, people could just not click on the thread like you to avoid disappointment biggrin
Or you could upset the above Moderator or one of the others by posting before the 9pm ruling & see what happens biggrin

Not everyone can stay up til 2am or has a work/life schedule that allows them to watch it before that showing, hence the very simple rule - "do not spoil things for others"

It's not a new rule, and it's not just for this thread.

Yes, but to be fair you had well and truly pissed off the Moderators by that point laugh
