The upwards curve of the land in the open credits is still intriguing, could Westeros be inside a Dyson Sphere?

As soon as they revealed that, I started thinki9ng tactics, like in SInbad, when the dragon has to go through a tunnel, so simply entice the big beastie though a tunnel and then smash it? biggrin
Maybe stab them with something long and sharp, like, A Lance..

Perhaps you could lure them in to the trap with some sort of magic dragon commanding spherical crystal.

Or a horn.

Nymeria is going her own way like Arya, she is no longer a pet, they are not longer cub and child.

This is what Arya is recognising as a parallel from own experiences, they are both a little feral now.

This doesn't mean their connection/relationship is being severed, it has moved on.

I'm sure Nymeria's pack still has a part in the story, but I think it will be in war against the White Walkers not Cersei.

I've seen those. There are no boundaries in story telling, I love the very ambiguity between genres, the cross-overs. I know it will never really be answered.

The astrolabe type mechanism of the structures is another nod to that as well.

Little finger is a dead man walking, he is slowly losing his grip on the situation and seems blinded to it.

Bran and Arya arriving home will see a big upturn in the Starks position.

Who is still on Arya list? Cersei and presumable Jamie.

Illyn Payne, Cersei, The Red Woman, The Mountain, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr (both for selling Gendry to the Melisendre). Although Illyn Payne disappeared off her list when Wilko left the show, but I do hope he comes back.

Still no information on Gendry, he is too important to be hidden for much longer, is he the only a good suitor for Sansa. Have they ever met?
Next episode, he's rowing past and saves Theon from the Blackwater.

I'm also sold on Sam as the Narrator, it would be in very much in character to downplay his own role, which is fitting.

Cersei seems very alone but a few good battles would see the end of that. I can see Tarly betraying Cersei and Jamie killing her.
This is an interesting idea, something I hadn't thought of before. Kings Landing under siege, Cersei threatening to burn the city to the ground rather than surrendering, and Jamie repeating his past and becoming the "Queenslayer"?
I think it would be a fairly neat ending. Jamie already thinks she's nuts after the Sept.

Also on the possibility of circular history- the Martell/Sands are back in the clutches of a Lannister/The Mountain. Will we get another daughter/mother rape/murder combo?

The hound hanging around with Aryas enemies is an interesting twist, too. I can't help feel she'll get to the North at just the wrong time.

Hmm, or Sansa openly defying Jon could eventually be a set up to make her seem vulnerable to Little Finger's schemes?

Cersei needs to balance revenge vs their value as hostages. Jamie would seem likely to push this to keep House Martell out of the fight. This could increase their divisions.

Why are the Hound's companions enemies fo Arya?

Yara and Elaria are the gift for Cersei.
Yara, Elaria AND Tyene.

Although I do see Euron only offering one of them, Elaria, to Cersei.
She has little meaning to him but is arguably the most valuable to Cersei, as she basically is the Queen of Dorne.

I didn't mention Tyene because she's a relative nobody to Cersei. However now you mention it, she is someone of interest to Jaime's BFF Bronn.

Agree that Elaria and daughter are likely to be the gift, given the hate Cersei has for the Sands over the poisoning of her daughter by Elaria. Cersei doesn't any direct grievance like that against Yara. She is just an enemy. I'm rethinking the value of Elaria as valuable hostage given they are Sands.

So we know that Euron is capable of a low cunning. I think he will keep Yara, but what is his plan?

I don't see it unfolding that way.

Littlefinger thinks she is following his plan, when in reality, she is folding her own plan.

I think Sansa is increasing her influence on Jon, and she voiced the same position as the other houses, getting some of them on side. Jon is focused on the bigger picture, after he meets and allies with Danny he is not coming back north to rule. Sansa will become the Warden & Queen of the North. Bran will also bring focus on to the White Walkers. Sansa and the Northern houses still see the enemy as Cersei while John sees it as the WW.

I agree, he's a goner. I have a feeling he might live long enough to see his throne gaming was all futile in the face of the ice hoards of the night king, but he's going this season, and it'll be a Stark who offs him.

Something occurred to me, who survives that knows he betrayed Ned in the throne room in S1? Anyone? Certainly Sansa never knew.
