Death by Mountain. Or death by wildfire like the mad Queen she is.
Agree, that Death by Mountain is probably her plan, but not necessarily the outcome.Bronn vs the Mountain, unlikely but would be pretty cool fight I think.
Trial by combat was outlawed, presumable back on the cards now if it suits

Why is the audio such garbage? I have to crank the volume way up with GoT - much higher than any other show/channel that I'd comfortably listen to. No problem with anything else on SKY Atlantic.
Agreed it's a pain. Clearly we don't want vocal projection with every actor trying to outdo Brian Blessed, but there's a limit.Another particularly bad show is Black Sails, every actor saying lines in a gritty 60 Capstan Full Strength a day gravelly whisper in order to seem really hard. If you turn the sound up so you can hear it, get into a battle scene or worse, the adverts, and it's suddenly so loud that the dog leaps 4 foot in the air roused from his slumbers.

The show has taken a drastic Hollywood turn though, good guys v bad guys.
I still hope, but I don't think the show will have any true surprises...like the red wedding, or the Baelor episode
Theon did surprise me mildly though...
That is an interesting point: logically (the way most would want/expect it to play out) good will win in the end.....I still hope, but I don't think the show will have any true surprises...like the red wedding, or the Baelor episode

But with it being JRRM we're all anticipating carnage on the way, but presuming the 'main' characters will be around to somewhere close to the bitter end. But which will be the end? The final player when the music stops and gets to sit on the iron throne, or the war with the white walkers? Will the latter make everyone, eventually, join together in an unholy alliance to fight them, only to break into a bun fight once they are (inevitably) defeated, or the other way round, some of the factions manage to defeat the white walkers and then take the iron throne?
a true surprise would be if one of the inner circle (Jon, Daenerys, Tyrion, Cersei, Jamie, Bran, Sansa and Arya) were to die 'early', even in this series rather than the final one. I tend to think all the other characters are peripheral (and therefore expendable), except perhaps Littlefinger, but he's mostly lurking in shadows smirking at the moment.... but he was also doing that in series one, so it could be he'll become more significant at some point; otherwise why keep such an irritating character around for so long!
Like you, I doubt there will be a huge surprise to come, not least as the Hollywood angle and even a cynic like JRRM would, presumably, ultimately want to have 'the good guys' win means there is a logical path for what remains, although sure to be some diversions and twists!

I'll be surprised if Cersei makes it to the end of this year. But with it being JRRM we're all anticipating carnage on the way, but presuming the 'main' characters will be around to somewhere close to the bitter end. My prediction for the remainder of the run is:
Series 7 - alliances and battles between men, not too much walker stuff until the final episode where the wall will come down. Cersei to be offed by Jamie at the end of episode 6 before being squished by the mountain. I also think little finger will go this year as well.
Series 8 - will be lots of Sam in old town preparations and relevlations before the grand finale at winterfell. I don't think Jon or Danni will get to sit on the iron throne either. I think Sansa will end up as queen.
Not spoilers as it's complete speculation.

I wonder if the Wall will fall?
Are the White Walkers baddies?
I see LF dying soon.

The Hound says this when looking in the flames. "Marching past."
This is from season 7 opening credits. The sea itself looks frozen around the wall by Eastwatch-by-the-Sea. Jon has already decided the wildlings will man the Eastwatch castle, so I see a huge loss up there and we lose Tormund, which will be sad to see if it happens.
The archmaester Sam is working under also said something about The Wall having stood through every winter and people believing events were the end of the World when they weren't. I don't see The Wall coming down.
I do hope Littlefinger gets his ending soon, I think he's due a mistake that gets him in a situation he can't overcome, not before royally fking someone over though! Sansa can marry her cousin in The Vale if need be and take some power over the Knights of the Vale and their powerful army. Those cutting through swathes of undead could be fun to watch. Having said that, the scene with Littlefinger and Jon in the crypt felt to me like LF pushing some buttons to see what gets Jon's back up. Sansa was the answer to that, so maybe we see a LF Sansa twist that fks Jon over in some way.

I'd love to see Sansa lure LF into her bedroom then shove a f**king big sword right up him.
Me too, but I think she sees the long game of using him. He loves her, maybe that's his single weakness in the pursuit of the Iron Throne. I'll be waking up an hour early in the morning to catch the episode. Anyone watch it live?Spanna said:

Yep, one would have thought she'd deploy screening vessels to cover the fleet, standard practice. To have the enemy fleet just 'appear' like that in the midst of Yara's fleet was a little too hard to believeGassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
