When they sent Gendry off for the marathon I was half expecting to not see him for another four seasons.
Out of interest, how did the ravens and dragons achieve warp speed?
A good episode on the surface but it's starting to look very sloppy when you look a little deeper
There was some poor editing too, I think they could have easily changed that scene on the island to make it look like they were stranded for 2-3 days which would have validated the time taken.Out of interest, how did the ravens and dragons achieve warp speed?

Just seen an interesting theory:
However, all this falls apart when you consider that he could have taken out not only a dragon (and the biggest one at that) but also fked his only human opposition by then throwing in his army to mop them up on the ground... Instead of taking aim for a flying one further away...
At first he is targeting Drogon, but we see him shift his attention when Viserion flies towards him breathing fire, dragon fire is clearly a threat to him that needs to be dealt with immediately. However, all this falls apart when you consider that he could have taken out not only a dragon (and the biggest one at that) but also fked his only human opposition by then throwing in his army to mop them up on the ground... Not to mention the whole 'come with me' 'there's no time' lines. The hole for me for Benjen conveniently showing up.
Eh? They had time to have a chat about it but not time for him to just jump on the horse and go? Righto.
It's all got really Hollywood and you can tell they no longer have book dialogue to work from, the scene on the boat with Jon and Dany was really cringeworthy.

That's how I saw it too; but everyone else's questions made me think I'd interpreted it wrong. Where did Rheugar (sp) go? He was following V down & then disappeared; why did he torch them all as Drogon clearly wanted to be off to do?!

I think the taking down of the riderless dragon (viserion?) whilst Drogon with Dany riding survived does illustrate something the books hammered home. That the dragons need riders to be useful. At the moment the Dragons on their own lack the finer survival instincts of a human (e.g. I'm a big ass dragon, you can't hurt me). The ballista to Drogon highlighted they can get hurt by none magic means, and one of the reasons Drogon avoided death appeared to be Dany's input.
Whether this is realised by Dany or she juts pulls her children from the fight is hard to judge given her character on the show.

Dany saw Jon's chest wounds from his death wounds and they are still raw, over two years later.
When the hound points at the arrow shaped mountain, that is the place is where the NK was created by the children of the forest. This explains a lot of the questions as to why he hasn't marched south yet. It is a place of power to gather his strength.
It's only a few months isn't it? PLus, if he's not actually alive, they'll always stay. When the hound points at the arrow shaped mountain, that is the place is where the NK was created by the children of the forest. I didn't see it, but lots are positing that it is somehow Longclaw turning into Lightbringer.
Or could just be grasping at straws.

Is Arya going to go to KL with Brienne?
It gets her close to Cersai with little bother.

Think its longer than that, he was killed in S4 finale, resurrected in S5 opener, and we are near the end of S6, so by my reckoning that is two years. How do you know about the mountain?
I recognised the mountain as soon as the hound pointed to it, it is in the background when the Children of the Forest make the night king. Hopefully you can see it here. It might just be the same shooting location, but then why would the hound draw such a strong pointer to it.

Does wearing a taller person's face make you taller too? How would Arya pretend to be 6 foot Littlefinger when she's 4 feet 10? It's all getting a bit Blackadder, when he tries to pretend he's Lord Farrow with a bag on his head.
Have you watched the show much? It's not just dressing up, it's magic like all the other magic. Watch the first scene in Season 7 again.4x4Tyke said:

When saving Bran and Meera in season 6, Benjen specifically says 'the three-eyed raven sent for me'. The hole for me for Benjen conveniently showing up.

Good spot on the mountain, though not sure why the WW would be marching their wights around like in a MOntuy Python sketch...also means that Gendry is one helluva runner! Jon dies and then is resurrected in a day or so,he then hangs the mutineers and goes out to take Winterfell, so he spends a month or so rallying troops across the north, then attacks Winterfell, proclaimed King in the North and then heads off to Dragonstone for a month or so...so it should be under 4 months I reckon.
