who else would they get to do the knife flip?
Theyve already said the ending/person on the throne will be a bitter sweet ending so im going with Ayra wearing Cersei's face
I'm thinking Dany, with little heir on knee - but Jon dead after sacrificing himself to save her /kill the night king... Theyve already said the ending/person on the throne will be a bitter sweet ending so im going with Ayra wearing Cersei's face

The actual fight on the show had lots of fast camera cuts and edits, I think the knife bit was a close up, with a cut or two IIRC so I meant for her to do it in a continuous action sequence like that in one move was very impressive. Especially as unlike Arya she isn't left handed.I think the end will show Jon and Dany's son sitting on the throne with an older Sam next to him. Sam will close a book, look at the boy-king and say "And that's how Jon met your mother".
On a side note, I think the final battle will be in Kings landing, when Dany was in the house of the undying looking for her stolen dragons, she walked through the throne room of the red keep which had been ruined and there was snow coming in through the windows.

Not sure what people are moaning about tbh. OK it feels a little rushed compared to what came before but they need to tie up A LOT of loose ends. I'd prefer they did that rather then left things hanging, for some reason I can't stand ambiguity so I want the story to have a proper beginning, middle and end.
The storytelling has dropped ever so slightly as they can't spend 3 episodes over the smallest details anymore but it's still the best show on telly.
As for LF's death, OK a little rushed maybe but a real YES moment for me as I've wanted that annoying little toad offed for the longest time now. It's satisfying that it's Arya that get's to do it although I'd have actually preferred Sansa to do it personally for 3 reasons.
1) She has arguably suffered the most from his manipulations so it would have been even more satisfying.
2) Echoing Ned Stark's "the person who passes judgement should carry out the sentence" would have been very neat, especially if she'd said it before lopping his head off.
3) Would show that Sansa has grown and actually has the balls to become a proper leader.
As for the ending again I hope it's not ambiguous or too much of a downer. We've had more than enough of that throughout the show I feel and after all the trials and tribulations the characters have gone through, I wouldn't mind cutting them a little slack and giving them a decent ending or some closure at least.
Oh and I'd really prefer it if Cersei died a gruesome death, although knowing this show it's just as likely she'll end up the only survivor sitting on the Iron Throne with her baby.

Do you not think that the battle will be wherever the writers decide is most dramatic, rather than in a 'strategically strong' location?? The armies aren't actually making real tactical decisions!
Yes, but the nature of the story means these all coincide. They’re just all made-up places to me I guess. I don’t really see them as proper locations.
