I would hope at the end the iron throne isn't much of a thing, which is where I reckon the books are heading, but this is a telly programme, so I reckon we'll get a more formulaic ending.
What makes you think that? It's called the Game of Thrones, most of the series has been about who gets to sit on it? I've not read the books but from the TV show, it definitely does look like a thing.

The White Walkers are a big distraction certainly but at the end, someone still has to rule Westeros.

The programme is called Game of Thrones yeah, so that lends itself to a more formulaic ending, which is what I said.
The books has 10x more going on, but the show, well Westeros/iron throne has only been a thing for 300 years and most/all of the 7 kingdoms are in chaos or fked. I wouldn't be surprised at anything right now, but I think formulaic is the best (slightly) better bet.

Or the NIght King wins all, no more turmoil and everyone in the 7 kingdoms becomes a white walker and lives happily ever after (literally) wink

Jon will get burnt by the blue dragon, everyone will be shocked, he will walk out the flames, everyone will be shocked, that will prove who he is, everyone will be shocked. Someone will get their tits out.

There's a new teaser out:

But Dani was told she can't have kids until the Sun rises in the West and sets in the East.
which could be a metaphor for her time in Essos and Westeros if you think about it

thumbup

The new trailer could be a Bran vision of a possible future, so a massive misdirect.

Is that the bit he said about never seeing so many dead whites in one place?

THere was a trailer a while back for another year where a dragon flew over KL...and that was from some dream or something.

Night's King for th win?....I really do hope he isn't Bran, time travelling in a loop, that would be full on drizzling sts. Will he die though? Is he a baddie? Are the Children baddies?

Also in Bran's vision at the start of S6E6 just before Benjen saves him & Meera.

Probably just a re-used image of a scene never used. KL was sunny so could have been from Daenery's visit to broker a deal with Cersei in S7.

Stood behind Kristofer Hivju in the security line at Newark on Monday.

Nice chap, excellent beard, and not tall at all in real life!

It’s claimed he’s 6 ft, so nothing particularly huge. However I see what you mean, he looks pretty tall in the series smile

Kit Harrington is only 5ft 6. So makes Kristofer look tall.

yeah, it's just so damn annoying! Only earlier in this week I was playing mind games about what I would have done if I ws Ned.

No sending off half my men to chase the mountain, Dondarrion and the others can do it on their own.
I'd replaced the head of the city watch immediately, as I'm hand...probably with...damn, can't recall his name but he was Ned's captain of the guard.
be far friendlier to Barry, as he's the only Kingsguard you can trust, and maybe hint to him not to trust Lannisters? not sure on that one as can't recall timeline

With regards to what happens at the Battle of Winterfell, I think they get overrun with many main characters being killed, hence Ayra running away from something in the trailer. She’s one of the few who get away.

We shall see.
