With regards to what happens at the Battle of Winterfell, I think they get overrun with many main characters being killed, hence Ayra running away from something in the trailer. She’s one of the few who get away.
We shall see.
Isn't she in the crypts at that point? Could the night king have brought one of her relatives back to life and that freaked her out?We shall see.

If he had written a black character the same people would be slagging him off as "how can a fat, white middle aged man write a black character"
To an extent the Wildlings are the oppressed minority in this program.
The real answer though is, not everything is about sub-text and parallel. Sometimes it's just about a good story.
Anyway, I've just finished my run through. Most satisfying moment in the final episode was not the dragons but Littlefinger.

It is hardly as if white people are presented favorably - I note for example they do not mention incest in that article, or that the iron born are ravagers and rapists, and as you say the wildlings are feudal and nomadic people. To an extent the Wildlings are the oppressed minority in this program.

I think the analysis actually undermines the thrust of the article because it is so selective - why not just say GoT should have a more diverse cast and leave it at that.
Although there’s a light hearted comedy piece at the bottom
“Since you’re here…
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading and supporting our independent, investigative reporting than ever before. And unlike many news organisations, we have chosen an approach that allows us to keep our journalism accessible to all, regardless of where they live or what they can afford.
The Guardian is editorially independent, meaning we set our own agenda. Our journalism is free from commercial bias and not influenced by billionaire owners, politicians or shareholders. No one edits our editor. No one steers our opinion. This is important as it enables us to give a voice to those less heard, challenge the powerful and hold them to account. It’s what makes us different to so many others in the media, at a time when factual, honest reporting is critical.
Every contribution we receive from readers like you, big or small, goes directly into funding our journalism. This support enables us to keep working as we do – but we must maintain and build on it for every year to come. Support The Guardian from as little as £1 – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.”
