Louise was looking very good I thought. Daisy Lowe comes over as too full of herself.

The dancing is all a bit of fun but I do listen to the music, the band have been great over the years but last year I thought they were a bit suspect in places. Glad they didn't murder David Bowie's Let's Dance, that would have been unforgivable. smile Perhaps Dave Arch has refreshed a few musicians?

Predictably Ed Balls in the bottom two, although a bit surprised at the DJ being there too. The one who got a nine deserves to be there - this isn't X-Factor so save the sympathy vote, her dance was as dull as ditchwater.

Not a fan of Anastacia but blimey that dance and those splits!! Lordy!

The band and the dreadful singing are one of the main reasons I never watch this programme! Still each to their own!

I thought Daisy was significantly overmarked - the best first dance ever? bks.

Judge, Danny, Louise and Greg were the best imho.

saturdays marks were overall a bit higher for no real reason I saw for the majority.

good to have it back though its a brilliant show.

I could quip that if you never watch the show one must assume you've never heard the band but I guess that would fall on deaf ears! biggrin

The band are, well, acceptable. The singers have a truly amazing ability to murder songs that were quite decent originally. At times, they're so bad they distract from the dance.

Oh, and as for why Tony always gets a carp partner - it's because a good partner could potentially dance latin better than he does - and we can't have the celebrity out-dancing the pro, can we? Slight exaggeration, but not by much.

Daisy Lowe is much younger than I thought, perhaps I was confusing her with her mother.

Louise Redknapp is still stunning even if she's getting a bit older/mumsier. And Daisy Lowe is hotter than expected if a bit posh Totty annoying.

Bit of a fan of Oti too so hope she makes it a bit further.

I do think a Christmas special edition with Rachel Riley, Abby Clancy, Pixie Lott, Rachel Stevens, Caroline Flack, Georgia Foote etc would get good viewing figures...

And yet you feel the need to post in a thread about a show you say you never watch. How very odd.

Are there any other threads you go into to tell people you have no interest in the topic of discussion? confused

Just watched the second show, thought Louise was fantastic.

Danny Mac has surely done professional dancing before - storming.

And Ed Balls is surely made from wood - didn't know that.

And I wish every time Craig RH held his score up, Darcy wouldn't turn her head towards him with her gob open.

I didn't 'feel the need', I merely expressed my opinion on a TV show. Isn't that what these fora are about, or do you have to be completely non-critical to take part?
I think it is interesting that some people think the music and singing enjoyable and others ( like me) find it atrocious. As I said, each to their own.
