There is a very good Bond supplement in this months Empire magazine. Archive info plus unseen pics and other stuff. Recommended.

Odeon (most of them as far as I can tell) are running a thing where you can pick two Bond movies to be screened at your local, the ones with the most votes at each cinema get screened later in March.

Unfortunately I couldn't vote for the Spy Who Loved Me twice so I went with Man with the Golden Gun as well.

Correct on choice number 1.
OHMSS as number 2.

I'm hearing rumblings it's been pushed back until November.

Announced as November 2020, that's quite some delay.

...plus the knock-on effect in delaying Bond26 and the announcement of the next Bond actor.

Wise decision, I think. I felt uneasy about sitting in a crowded cinema (we don’t know how widespread this thing is going to be in a few weeks’ time) and the last thing they want to do is have to move it for a second time, so November sounds like a good idea to me.

‘Course their other option is to break with tradition and do a streamed digital release. Unlikely though, Bond premieres are as British as the Queen’s Speech, red telephone boxes and torrential rain on the late August Bank Holiday.

I think that's the economic solution...if they don't have any reshoots planned...

Just good sense in my opinion. This isn't Disney with another 27 films to boost the profits if one has to be lost to the virus, Bond is a fairly self contained entity and needs to make money for the backers and distributors.

It's already 6 months late and has had more than it's fair share of problems. Its had a lot of press and they have been pushing it more than previous films I think, which is normally a bad sign. Not completely out there to think they might take the excuse and extra time to do some fiddling in the edit room.
