Hmm, time for a top 5 secondary character list? Not the villain, or M/Q/Moneypenny.

I'd go with
Karim Bey
General Gogol
Felix, Geoffrey Wright edition
Goldeneye pen clicking guy
Art Malik's Oxbridge Taliban
Saunders, head of section V? Unususlly, someone who doesnt like Bond.
Robbie Coltrane as Zukho... the Rusian
Sylvia Trench. 007’s first on screen ‘conquest’. She introduced us to Bond by asking for his name in a way that invited him to answer “Bond, James Bond”.

its going to be sold because there's no way they can get enough people into a cinema to recoup their losses ...watch this space.
I think I agree with you on that one - It'll go to the highest bidder for exclusive distribution on one of the streaming platforms, and the price paid will be something astronomical.

Place your bets which one......

TBH I'd rather pay lets say £12.99 to stream it when out, than go sit in a cinema.

I just wish they would hurry up and do that. Kids and I bought Mulan when they did that. We have a good set up now with large s reen and Dolby Atmos. I'd gladly pay 20, 25 quid for the next Bond film and watch it in the comfort of my own home.

All I need to do is find where Odeon get their nachos cheese sauce from and I never need to set foot in a cinema again.

Here’s a fun trivia fact. The black dress that ties up at the front which Jill St John wears in the apartment scenes in Holland, was given to one of the assistant directors to give to his wife as a present, who then past it on to her daughter.

Her daughter is the simply gorgeous Sarah Cracknell lead singer of St. Etienne and she wears it in the rather bizarre video for Hug My Soul.

She also wears a pair of oversized men’s pyjamas while cuddling a teddy bear. This makes The Toad feel especially ‘unusual’ and therefore he can only watch it on rare occasions.

I'm watching My Name is Fleming, Ian Fleming on Amazon Prime

No huge revelations so far as I am fairly clued up on the subject since James Bond was something my dad and I had, but I did not know that Fleming was friends with Jacques Cousteau.

I used to love watching Jacques Cousteau films as a child.

I can even tell you what SCUBA is an abbreviation for.

Edit: I also did not realise that "James Bond" was the name of a mild-mannered ornithologist author whose name Fleming stole.

That's the most bizarre thing I have read in many a year. Thank you so much! xxxxxx

I remember watching them too, but I can only remember the RMS Britannic dive as the subject as he discovered the wreck.

Diamonds are Forever trivia, Mr Wint character's real life son is actor Crispin Glover.

If I were them I'd release it in a few ways with the pricing starting quite high and then tailing off over time.

So all rental/streaming platforms but at a chunk, maybe with 4k UHD discs at a similar price. Then every 6mths or so drop the price/quality levels maybe.

It'll be interesting to see how they do it. I think reducing reliance on cinema releases was the way forward anyway. This just forces that issue.

I think we need a groundswell re-evaluation of the streaming landscape.

It's so fragmented at the moment. I have a basic Sky HD (not Q) subscription, Amazon Prime, and Netflix, and I feel like I am at the absolute limit of my financial commitment. I can't go Disney+ and Discovery+, and Hulu, and fk knows what else on a subscription basis.

I think we need a Blockbuster Video model for renting new films equivalent to cinema pricing models where you do not need a subscription.

Of course, the big problem for me as a single person living alone, is that if is impossible for this model to differentiate between me and a party of 20 people.

Yes. 'Birds of the West Indies' was Fleming's first sight of the James Bond moniker.

I am in the same boat to be honest. I have Amazon Prime which is fine but staying on thread I will probably go where No Sure What Time To Die is released.

(secretly hoping it's Disney+ because everyone keeps raving about how great The Mandalorian is.)
