I don't quite understand how the new groups language has gone all broken and silly in the space of 3 years or whatever it is.
I've not been watching but as my daughters got into this and have watched the last few episodes I agree with the language. The group they met. Whats up with the strange way they talk ? Zanderman said:

I thought this was really odd, was a bit like Mad Max 3...........Still enjoying it, but some odd editing where it all feels disjointed and the script is dire in places. Not sure if the disjointed editing feel is because the US would be putting 3 advert breaks in where UK puts one?
Anyway, at least they are showing more of the desolate world rather than the confines of residential streets or fields. I want it to look more like Fallout 4.

You could understand over a couple of generations, but in a time it takes to conceive and have a kid get to toddler size?
They didn't really reveal too much of a back story for the group. They could be a bizarre group/cult that have been together since before the fall and have just found refuge in the scrapyard? Also you'd adapt to your surroundings and leader. Rick's personality has rubbed off on members of the Alexandrian's in the short time they've been there. Maybe I'm looking at it too deeply though and it's all just a massive plot contrivance to bring in an oddball group as an ally/future enemy?
