I don't quite understand how the new groups language has gone all broken and silly in the space of 3 years or whatever it is.

I've not been watching but as my daughters got into this and have watched the last few episodes I agree with the language. The group they met. Whats up with the strange way they talk ?

I thought this was really odd, was a bit like Mad Max 3...........

It's just as odd that none of the Saviours has ever stumbled upon such a huge scrapyard right under their noses.

Yes, whilst I don't like analysing every single bit of the show, surely that's exactly the kind of place they'd be on the look out for!

You could understand over a couple of generations, but in a time it takes to conceive and have a kid get to toddler size?

Abandoned trailer had the Smokey and the bandit paint on it. Nice touch.

Seems like the perfect place to live. Easy to make rat runs/defenses.

'Twas an odd episode, the speaking style was just weird. spikey zombie death monster was some thing!

Agree with all of the above regarding last nights episode.

I'm not a fan of Mad Max post apocalyptic settings anyway - but it's only been 2 or 3 YEARS FFS!

Absolutely embarrassing writing.

Still enjoying it, but some odd editing where it all feels disjointed and the script is dire in places. Not sure if the disjointed editing feel is because the US would be putting 3 advert breaks in where UK puts one?

Anyway, at least they are showing more of the desolate world rather than the confines of residential streets or fields. I want it to look more like Fallout 4.

I do know the difference between actors and characters, but this post did make me reflect (proudly) on the fact that now at least 5 of the main characters are actually played by Brits!

They didn't really reveal too much of a back story for the group. They could be a bizarre group/cult that have been together since before the fall and have just found refuge in the scrapyard? Also you'd adapt to your surroundings and leader. Rick's personality has rubbed off on members of the Alexandrian's in the short time they've been there. Maybe I'm looking at it too deeply though and it's all just a massive plot contrivance to bring in an oddball group as an ally/future enemy?

Very odd and I was very confused that it could only take a group of people 3 years to go full-on Mad Max...

...until my wife pointed out that it only took 2 years for another group of people to start eating each other....

I haven't seen it yet, but parts of the US are itching for something like this to happen so they can be 'free', some parts went a bit Mad Max a while ago.
