Recently cancelled Virgin, had package with internet, phone and bt sports for £66, got a letter saying it would be £87. Can't be arsed trying to do a deal anymore, plus they have increased over previous years during the contract! what's the point of a contract, if they can adjust the price when they feel like it?

Rang them up saying we would like their broadband service only. Shows a deal for £25 month on their website - the loyalty reward for exsisting customers is £44 month for us. I said we're leaving unless they can do the £25. Suddenly reduces to £35. I asked why they don't have a price list for exsisting customers on their website, couldn't answer. Seems a little dodgy to me.

So cancelled that and signed up with 3 5g broadband. Works great, no installation just walk in shop, sign deal come home with new router, unlimited for £21 month. Got basic netflix and happy enough with freeview. I do like watching live motogp, WSBK & BSB, but can usually watch next day on ITV4.

Feels good to have finally dumped them. Watching less tv is certainly better for me, the amount we pay for such crappy advert ridden content, is just silly
