Pages of stuff in The Times this weekend, had no idea the new test track was at Wroughton, not far from me.

They also mention that one film alone cost somewhere around £2.5m.

I'm really looking forwards to the threads where people who have said they miss the old Top Gear then go on to complain that Grand Tour is just like the old Top Gear, the format is stale, Clarkson is a knob, Hammond is irritating etc.

Just like it used to be biggrin

A mate was saying that he thought he had heard/read Jezza saying that there might be a possibility of someone like C4 airing this series at some point in the future but didn't talk about timescales.

Not a clue how reliable this info is though.
It'll be on Dave before we know it.
Hahah very little chance of that... Dave is 50% owned by the BBC.

Fair enough. I recall someone saying a few weeks back that this video was shown during the last live tours.

Yes, but the video does mention "going back to the arena" which suggests that this is one of the pre-recorded sections of "Clarkson, Hammond & May - LIVE!".

Interview with Clarkson on the BBC this morning. Asked him why his contract didn’t get renewed. He avoided the issue of his fracas answer simply reported the difference between working with Amazon and the BBC, send Amazing a film and they squeal with delight and are supportive, never got that from the BBC... ever.

Asked about the new TG team, and the reasons for problems, very clear about that, what many of us have said on the TG thread, writing is everything.
