The Grand Tour
Discussion
I actually preferred 2 to 3, 3 was too obviously scripted and the pissed off James/noisy Hammond thing was over done and rapidly became boringly predictable. I went away to do something else when Hammond appeared in the speedboat and only returned when they where demolishing the house, normally I would watch the whole thing but I got bored with it.

Whilst some of the jokes got a good chuckle from the audience. There was an awful lot of canned laughter on that episode!
I'm baffled as to why people are saying "they'll get into it" though. They've been making the show in the near exact same fashion since 2004
The canned laughter is intolerable. The humour is forced and unnatural. I'm baffled as to why people are saying "they'll get into it" though. They've been making the show in the near exact same fashion since 2004
I can't imagine where all the budget has gone, they've just produced a much more expensive version of top gear which isn't actually as good in any way, they've got all this tallent and budget and all they can come up with is a knock off from an already tired old show. It's just rubbish.
The papers made a big issue of it on Top Gear and it was repeated a million times as a big negative. The same papers tell us The Grand Tour is amazing and people are repeating that.
Not too impressed with it so far, I completely agree with the comment earlier about it being too scripted. Yes Top Gear went downhill over the past few series but this is worse, I'd much prefer it if they went back to basics as in Top Gear around 2006. Yes it was scripted to some degree but they could be themselves too.
