Looks like the new series is due to start soon and they are looking for tickets
But not such the grand tour this time as the tent seems to be having a home in the Cotswolds

Only problem if i actually get a set of tickets is i don't think i know anyone else who would want to go!

The one thing TGT missed was consistent car reviews. FFS get rid of the "comedy".
I'll be honest, I have absolutely no interest in watching a man with a beard doing a serious review on how good the Peugeot 405 is, or telling me what sort of MPG you can get from a Citroen BX or whatever.I can just about stomach a car 'review' if it involves telling me the top speed of a new Ferrari before seeing how sideways it will go.
I like watching 3 scruffy, childish men be slightly racist, rude, potty mouthed, destructive, silly, crass, sarcastic, and offensive in their behaviour, whilst occasionally having something to do with cars. Hopefully driving them sideways and crashing into things.
I suspect I am not alone in this.

I agree and Clarkson has said that TGT is not a car show - it's a light entertainment show that happens to have cars in it. The vast majority of people wouldn't watch a show similar to old Top Gear.I can just about stomach a car 'review' if it involves telling me the top speed of a new Ferrari before seeing how sideways it will go.

What are those who signed up to Prime for TGT last year doing?
We've barely watched much else on Amazon, I already have Spotify for music and I don't mind waiting a couple of days for a USB cable, so I'm struggling to justify renewing for The Grand Tour alone as it was largely disappointing.

I've watched quite a lot on Prime since I got it specially because of TGT, but even if I didn't I would happily pay the £79 renewal. We've barely watched much else on Amazon, I already have Spotify for music and I don't mind waiting a couple of days for a USB cable, so I'm struggling to justify renewing for The Grand Tour alone as it was largely disappointing.
I spontaneously went out for dinner and a couple of drinks with Lady Marylebone on Sunday and the bill was around £70.
So when you compare it to other things that people do on a regular basis and think nothing of spending, it's not bad value.
Some people piss £100 up the wall every Saturday night yet refuse to pay £79 for a year of TV and films.

Surely no one is actually looking forward to a second season?
As I said in an earlier post, I found a couple of episodes terrible, and there are definitely a number of things they could improve about it in general. But overall I found it half decent and fairly entertaining for a first attempt/first season.
If they have tweaked a few things and learned from the first season then I think I will enjoy it.

My interest level fell through the floor by episode 3. I'm not even slightly curious what this has to offer. The trio are over the hill, irrelevant without the BBC coverage, and clinging on to past glories!silent ninja said:

All of this. We had Prime anyway, and my missus watches a fair amount of stuff, but I don't think there is anything on Amazon that I've found remotely watchable. I think that, because it has no 'competition' in the traditional TV sense, it can churn out some total dross, because the customers (me included) have already paid for it.
"Amazon Exclusive", to me, now means "Just don't waste your time."

Thinking about it, I never got round to buying a Fire Stick so it's always the last choice of provider. Netflix, YouTube, NowTV, iPlayer etc. are all available in seconds on my phone and sent to the Chromecast, but to watch Amazon stuff we have to boot up another device (which is an awful hardship in the modern world ).
