The Grand Tour

Phenomenal!
And something for everyone. Genuinely funny comedy, a supercar, the refuelling skit was amusing and great for the kids (or people dumb enough to think that the car park racing was real) and then that rally story from Clarkson reminded us just what an incredible journalist he really is. And all beautifully shot and edited.
If the haters gonna hate that, it’s time for them to give it up and stick to Strictly Come Xfactor.
Brilliant brilliant television.

Best episode yet, I thought.
The Performante was good - sounded awesome. Although that reconstituted carbon fibre looked awful, though, so I won't be buying one.
Conversation Street - actually quite entertaining.
Refuelling sketch - amusing, and I laughed out loud several times (sorry).
Guests - skipped this.
Rallying - I have always loved the Lancia 037 so it was a given that I would like this and I did. What a stunningly gorgeous car. Great cinematography, and I enjoyed the "reconstructions" (even though I take them with a huge dose of salt).

Brilliant episode, wish Jezza would make more documentaries.
He is very engaging to watch. His WW2 documentaries are outstanding.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXusKM5uX0s

For those asking about Clarkson documentaries he made one on the Victoria Cross and one about Operation Chariot durin WW2 and both are excellent if you are interested in that sort of stuff.
Also remember an engineering one about Isambard Kingdom Brunel that got a lot of press coverage at the time.swisstoni said:
The Lancia mini-doc was at least BBC standard.
When he finally gets tired of this TGT business I’d be happy if he’d just do properly interesting and brilliantly written and presented work like this.
This was terrific and I’d love to see these guys do more segments like this. James May’s Ferrari v Ford piece was great too. When they decide (occasionally) to present things not from the perspective of a 10 year old child, they do it very well, Of course we love the 10 year old child stuff, but maybe not the entire showWhen he finally gets tired of this TGT business I’d be happy if he’d just do properly interesting and brilliantly written and presented work like this.

Great episode. A bit too young to remember that era of rallying, so hadn't heard the stories before. Fantastic piece though.
Me the same, although I’ve watched lots of things about group b, I didn’t know that story.Lovely piece.
Happy to be corrected and great episode .
