Agree but can’t say I wasn’t entertained. Interesting cars, nice scenery.

Yes, but they should do better, every word and action they say and do is VERY predictable.
I am watching the shows every time hoping that it will be better...

I'd hate it if it wasn't predictable, it's not supposed to keep you guessing.

They’re only doing 2 a year after this so let’s hope less is more. Would be a bit disappointing if you waited ages and ended up with something like this episode.

Part 2 of Columbia should hopefully be better as it looks like the weather and terrain start getting more extreme.

Regardless of the choice of vehicle one of them always turns up with something without a roof. I think he will regret that decision in tomorrows episode.

I thought it was ok. The reason for the trip is bullst, but that's always been the case. Once there, though, it kept me entertained mostly.

I'm quite happy to watch, but I'm definitely getting that "Seen one cathedral seen 'em all" feeling.

Rickety bridges are getting a bit samey, but it'll take some time for me to tire of people throwing stones at Clarkson.

Looking forward to watching it later . I don't sit there in anticipation of some masterpiece of Television or classic broadcasting I just watch it and enjoy it some bit more than others. I cant stand new Top Gear and don't watch it and I don't go on the thread telling everyone how awful it is. Each to their own etc I like the three amigo's growing old together.

Well colour me shallow, but confess I sniggered at Clarkson's line concerning the... errr... 'lack of local interaction with the male donkeys' :cough: because " that would be what... weird?"

Agree 100%, that was the best bit of this episode ( and the only one not fake/predictable ).

I've always thought that the Special episodes that they did were crap when they did them on Top Gear, and I just don't see the need to do them. This was my biggest fear...have a great opening episode but then the rest go downhill.

Hopefully once these two special episodes are out of the way then things will pick up again.

There's a format that works, then there is dull predictable things we've seen 100x over. It's obvious what's going to happen long before it does.

Big car small street scenario has been flogged beyond death. The pickup was comfortably away from the wall when they said it close.

Accidentally not noticing they were dragging the pick up through the hut.

Last week got off to a good start and it felt they had listened and improved the show. They followed up with this st as if they are still churning out any old nonsense.

Hopefully tonight's is much better and they haven't produced two long drawn out episodes. Maybe it was the dull build up to the climax?

Well I quite enjoyed it. Not hilarious, but an hour of easy watching.

Don't understand those saying it's predictable..... Haven't basically all of their tours been predictable for the last 10+ years?

I'm re-watching the first one now, to watch the second one back to back at about 11. Maybe it's like a chilli, best left until the next day.
