There's a fair bit of contradiction to your earlier post CC
Is there?

My clarification was that I enjoyed episode 1 (that's episode 1 of the series, not part 1 of the Special) and that part 2 of the Special was much better than part 1 of the Special. I don't understand how that contradicts the earlier post. confused

To me these two are a juxtaposition -

I enjoyed the the first episode immensely.
I'm watching part 1 right now and it's like pulling teeth

Or have I missed something?

I can see how it could mean either or, although the way he's clarified it, it does make sense. He enjoyed the 1st episode of the series. He's watching part 1 of the 2-part special and it's like pulling teeth.

For me, E1 was great, E2 (part 1 of 2) it was enjoyable but not their best, E3 (part 2 of 2) was thoroughly enjoyable!

One of us must be confused, and it may be me! The inclusion of the word part, instead of episode suggests to me part1 of Columbia. Also, the pathetic Gay jokes featured in Columbia pt1, but I don't recall any in Episode1/USA?

Are we really going to spend days arguing over this?

This thread really does breed strange arguments even for PH.

I like the gay jokes, yes very unpc nowadays (can't imagine any other show doing it) but it reminds me the jokes between friends i had, ribbing each other. its non offensive, old fashioned, puerile stuff but made the episode.

It's definitely you that's confused smile

3 episodes. Episode 1 he liked, episode 2 (part 1 of 2) he didn't like, episode 3 (part 2 of 2) he liked.

Agree, I found it funny. Anyone who gets offended at a car being referred to as gay, eating a ice-cream etc clearly has other issues themselves.

They are not ridiculing gays, they are making light jokes just the same as they do with other cultures.

OK, I'll accept I'm the one loosing my marbles whistle

One small (but important) detail, I'm pretty sure that Clockwork Cupcake now identifies as a female (Joanne?)

Of course, if you spilt some marbles and caused them to run free, I guess you could be loosing them (as well as losing them).

Um, anyway, back to the thread...

No offence intended. I just assume everyone on here is a dude as we all know there are no women on the internet, let alone on a PH thread about TGT! biggrin

If you’re watching this, you’ve got amazon prime and terrestrial tv and probably Netflix.

Are you honestly saying that you think this is better than everything else on all of those?
I have Sky, Netflix and Prime, and seem to spend an inordinate amount of time flicking through their crappy UIs trying to find something good that I haven’t already watched.

No, it's fine. It's a fair assumption to default to 'he' if not obvious from a user name. No offence taken. hippy

I thought the special was good overall part 2 a bit better and actually laughed out load at a few bits. Can't remember exactly what.
Its just 3 blokes who are actually friends taking the piss and getting to do some pretty cool adventures. Columbia looked amazing.

What's the snag with the $2K house? Crack dens all around?
Haven't had a good nose around but it's style looks like houses on and around Bishops Street - https://goo.gl/maps/83MJg9gDD4t probably not on there but nearby.

Houses were selling on that street last year for $20,000. - https://www.redfin.com/MI/Detroit/5100-Bishop-St-4... but prices have gone up since. At least the estimates have gone up I guess no one is buying at estimates.

This one https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4876-Buckingham... on doesn't really look bad Buckingham Avenue is only £7,500 - https://www.google.com/maps/@42.4002909,-82.943376...
A few houses down, one of the quick thinking cheeky neighbours - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@42.3994775,-82.9428...
