The Grand Tour
Discussion
Is anyone else wondering what on earth has happened to it? I wouldn't mind there only being a few episodes coming if we at least knew when they were going to be screened, but not knowing is making me tune-out altogether. My strategy was always to subscribe to Prime on a rolling monthly basis when TGT started, then cancel it when it finished. When Seamen was released I subscribed expecting a weekly series but we've had no more programmes and no more information as to when the next ones will be. It's highly likely that it'll fall out of my consciousness and I'll have lost interest altogether by the time the next one arrives and I'll simply not bother with it anymore. Anyone else feel like this? Any one else feeling, like me, that it's going to die a quiet, pathetic death and fade away?
Part of the rationale was that TGT would typically start around the time of year that Christmas was approaching and then I have my dad's birthday, my OH's birthday, my brother's birthday and then valentine's day by which time TGT was done, so plenty of reasons for online shopping and savings to be made on the free shipping with Prime. I'd only need three month's membership to cover all that shopping and a whole series of TGT.

Given it was £160m for the 2 or was it 3 series what do we think the 3 stars took as pay out of it?
All here:https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/0966852...
I'm a bit jealous.

In the mean time, I've been watching Top Gear (I've watched them all apart from the Chris Evans series), last nights episode had me in stitches in several places.
I think I must be abnormal. I've enjoyed plenty of TGT and TG episodes (and not enjoyed some others), but I can't recall many (any?) instances where they've "had me in stitches". The humour is pretty basic, repetitive and telegraphed at best. It doesn't stop me enjoying either, but I can't say I'd genuinely describe them as "hilarious".

have you watched the latest episode? Maybe your just a boring person? often find yourself standing on your own at the bar or even partys?
That's not very pleasant, and quite unnecessary. Are you always so rude?Different people clearly find different things "hilarious", as evidenced by the enigma that is Mrs Brown's Boys.

My late mother was inexplicably the only fan I met. She was an Oxbridge educated QC who otherwise favoured opera and Country file.
Late father loved it as well. Many people will gladly state their political viewpoint and it might well cost them friendships/relationships or just part a certain marker on them on online forums.
but nobody admits to watching Mrs Brown.
