HMRC plans to cut the accountant out of the loop for a large part of the new process - so the taxpayer really will need to "get smarter" regarding how they keep their records.

Everyone laughed at the Public Info Films but the fact was they got the message home.

A lot of the tttery seen on roads that occupies so much PH bandwidth (MLMs, roundabouts, not looking out the window occasionally) could easily be addressed today.

Surely the AA or even Highways Agency could stick an advert on the BBC?

I can't help thinking that we spend millions on smart motorways to increase capacity when half of the issue is that we aren't using the existing capacity properly!

Always someone on the internet who knows better.

I did hear one on Kiss FM about a week back mentioning the "X" on overhead motorway gantries and when it's safe to re-enter the lane.

Let's not forget this classic.

Exactly, we're sick of so called "experts" telling us things we don't want to hear.

Yes, the patronising how-to-drive ads to try to mitigate the cop-out that is smart(sic) motorways, thats your education budget.

That and being told to drink less every 5 minutes as part of the ad barrage whenever I flick on LBC I feel like I'm just about done with radio.

The one that stuck in my mind was the Hypothermia one.
