Normal ones will come after the celebrity charity episodes.
Ah right, thanks.

How many celeb charity episodes are scheduled?

The only true Crystal Maze involves Richard O’Brien, anything else isn't going to be as good. Let's face it - between the randomness and his often barely concealed frustration with the contestants he's the one that made it work.

Joel is an actor / comedian and I'm a celebrity contestant.
Tamara is a Hollyhoaks actress
Rylan is from X Factor and a really annoying presenter with very white teeth

That's the thing, for those of us who watch relatively little terrestrial TV, much less 'reality' shows, how would we know who most of them are. I think the original Crystal Maze worked so well because it was more about the games rather than contestants, and those contestants were on the whole, 'normal', and not mincing about or pouting with ridiculous looking botoxed lips, all vying for the most limelight. It was quite embarrassing to watch. (The new version, that is).

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Rylan as he had been on everything and is continually pushed in our faces.

The rest I can understand.

To be fair, he was called "Ryan" in the original post and I didn't know he'd added the name Neal to his, er, name.

The comedian did well on the last series of "I'm a celebrity". The woman is unknown to me, but I suspect she's off Hollyoaks.

They're proving quite competent.

Didn't bother watching it tonight. Bunch of so-called celebrities, none of which I'd ever heard of. I'll start watching when the proper episodes start, until then I'll waste no more of my time.

No idea who the woman was, but she was a notably bright cookie, seemed to grasp the games very quickly. That episode was quite a bit better than the previous ones, with no really infuriating idiots this time. The laser game looked horrendously difficult.

There are things that need fixing mind you, 5 people seems too few, the links between zones just doesn't work and breaks the "fourth wall". Talking of which, despite a load of money being spent on this, it somehow feels cheaper. The music seems to have been done on a Casiotone keyboard compared to the original, and the lighting just seems a bit "thin". Despite using a proper studio and supposedly thousands of lights / candles / torches.

The presenter's absolutely fine though, sarky yet witty.

Generally a bright team, agree that woman was sharp in particular, but generally they were asking sensible questions and giving reasonable guidance. Plus no really annoying persons. That laser game needs adjustment. Last game was unfortunate as she was indeed too short.
