What is meant by 'the puddlejumpers'? In my terminology it's a aircraft that flies between islands and I'm sure that's not what's meant.
According to the Viz Profanisaurus, puddlejumpers are gentlemen who are "good with colours".

Must be a style of humour that I'm not familiar with.

Probably easier (and far less expensive) just to store it away / look at it based on the back story of that one. Plus we don't know what other things have may happened for him in the time since he got the car back.

I can sympathise as when i had health issues back in 2010 i effectively stored my Focus RS away and just left it there for 9 years as it was easier / cheaper given other things that were going on. I knew it was there and could go and look at it / do stuff if i wanted to but it was easier not to think too much about it. I got it back on the road in 2019 and was looking forward to using it again the next year and then Covid came and fked everything at which point it was easier to leave it in storage rather than spending ££££ on something not being used. In about a month's time ill get to repeat the process from 2019 all over again.

Although given the current market i'd imagine that Mondeo is now far from an inexpensive car to insure for road use given the modifications including the roll cage, body, engine build, etc - and i say that as the owner of said reasonably heavily modified Focus RS currently finding out just how expensive it is to get it insured for the road this year vs last.
£193 fully comp for mine this year.

Thought the pop episode was excellent, deserving case too.
The car is not for me but appreciate the work that went into it, shame about the original but it was a no brainer not to scrap it. Thought Tim’s explanation of the LSD was good too.

Reveal as usual was brilliant, touching and tactful smile

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, no shenanigans, straight forward work and sensitively handled. Top work guys.

Did anyone notice the flatbed company name on the pax door as they arrive to see the Mondeo (3'30" in). Very funny and I thought they'd flash another shot in but it was just a fleeting glimpse as they jump out of the vehicle.

Going to watch further episodes more closely!

I lost track of Car SOS. Because there's so any repeats on different channels I got rid of the series link on my Sky box so... what is the latest series, is it 11 or 12? Easier perhaps, what car are they restoring in the latest episode? Thanks...

Thanks guys, no Nat Geo here. Just my VM M250 broadband (£19.95 p/m if you are seeing how cheap you can get them to go). Amazon Prime & Netflix. Had trial of Disney where we binged on all series 1 thru 10, then jumped to Ch 4 for series 11.

A very good episode with a well deserving owner. The Ford Pop isn't my type of car but they did an excellent job with it and I did like the purple colour it was finished in.

Agreed. The P1800 dragster was a bit of a surprise

That was a good episode. Pop turned out nice and the owner was very deserving. Nice to see Workshop Phil again too.
