Bit of a downer. I was really looking forward to this one. Fabulous car.

An excellent programme done with great sensitivity.

A fitting tribute to Gary.

Properly sad episode. A very respectfully done episode, no messing really by Tim, the car looked amazing. Hopefully it brings some joy to the family.

Just watched the Integrale one. What an awful episode.
As an ex Evo 2 owner and for other more personal reasons I started to well up half way through and didn’t really stop until the end. A tribute to him and his family.
RIP Gary.

I'm looking forward to the web episodes. Obviously given the circumstances they had to give a lot of screen time to the owners family.

I'd like to see a bit more of the engine rebuild.

I have to say, I didn't see that coming. And in the event of what happened I think they changed the format in a very respectful manner.

Absolute stunning job on that Integrale!

Watched the Integrale episode last night. I would imaging it must have been quite a difficult one to complete but they did it with great dignity and completed a superb job on the car which the family can rightly be proud of.

Immobiliser?

When they handed the keys over at the end there were no more dodgy fobs just keys.

I've given up on this show because there's so little actual car content these days. We all know the formula, Tim Shaw is incredibly irritating, and Fuzz gets all histrionic about how bad the car is/how little time they have. Then they unveil the car in some awful over-contrived manner.

They see a car. Fuzz whines about how awful it is, Tim has a cup of tea.

They return to the workshop. Everyone whines about how awful the car is. Somebody does some grinding.

Tim goes on day-release to ps off some local tradespeople. Fuzz rotates the engine with a spanner. Somebody does some grinding.

Tim returns to the workshop with some wheels/seats/sparkplugs, and gets in the way while somebody does some welding.

The owner's family turns up and whines about how awful the car is. Tim nominates an almost impossible date for the handover.

Fuzz and the workshop crew pull another all-nighter. Somebody reattaches a rear light lens.

Tim then explains how he's going to dress up as a pirate and pretend to attack the owner's wife whilst she's at Lidl. When her husband leaps to her defence, Fuzz will run him over with the car. Ta Daa!

Family clambers into the car and everyone waves as the owner drives it straight to WeBuyAnyCar.com
True, but I still quite like it. smash

Just watched on catch-up and shed a tear or two. Finished car looked absolutely cracking, especially when you consider it was pretty far gone when they started.

Funny how we can get so attached to something made of metals and plastics. Maybe it's not just what they are and do, but what the complete thing represents? Either way, it's great that Gary's family have something in their lives that meant so much to him.

Obviously I have no idea of the family’s financial situation but if they needed to sell it, a very hard move, then I wouldn’t have a problem at all with that at all.

It was a very well done episode. I was there on the day with about 25 other integrale owners and their cars. It was a great morning and very emotional. Tim and Fuzz were both really appreciative of people turning up and chatted with all.

Very sad episode but done with a lot of respect.

Good to see them finish the car for the family.
