yes, let's get this dirty linen aired.Looking at Ed's youtube channel bio it says 'Edd’s latest venture is Grease Junkie, his very own MoT and service centre based in Bracknell, UK and open to the public. Find out more at www.greasejunkie.com.'
You can even buy a signed postcard for £6.

Always thought there was a bit more to this story. So Ed apparently wanted others to do the big jobs leaving him to do the presenting side. Seems logical to be fair. I wonder if he'll now respond highlighting that Mike had 'chaps' doing much of his donkey work as well?
Once you quit / get pushed from the world's biggest car show (as it was at the time), the only way you can go is down.

A little indiscreet of Mike. He should know that there is no longer any such thing as "off the record" when pretty much everyone carries a recording device these days, as demonstrated by the very existence of this video. Still, it does have a ring of truth about it - it didn't appear to be being said in a bad-mouthing way (despite the title of the video) ; more as an explanation of the facts as he sees them.
Although, having said that, I always assumed that Edd would have a team of mechanics to do the actual spanner work, just as I assume that Mike has a team of researchers to do the car buying work.

Ultimately the success in the UK was that they were working on (the vast majority of the time) UK/European market cars. If they reduce the ratio of European cars and increase the US cars - which is probably inevitable - then it just becomes another US car show, of which there are many already (including online) that are better than WD.
IMO the USA ones are some of the best. However im a big fan of USA cars/culture

A problem is many of the great Uk and European cars are not sold in the USA so we miss out on that. However im a big fan of USA cars/culture
The trailer makes a big deal of the fact there are only 15 registered RS Cosworth in the US.
Should have come back to Blighty because there are hundreds of them.

Whereas none of the UK/European car based clones are anywhere near as good as WD.
Car SOS could be, if it was purely restoring old and unloved cars (and didn't even have the buying/selling bullst of WD). Cars that needed saving....
Instead it's a simpering, contrived, emotion-fest. I couldn't care less how Barry hurt his leg and has been unable to work on the wreck in his garage or even see his and his families delight as he's presented with a fully restored E-Type during some fake photo shoot, that only just got completed in time....

Just think it's ridiculous that they've moved the whole show to the US. However the first car of the new series is essentially a British car.

That's because you have only seen the trailer for the show on the Velocity channel in the USA, rather than the advert destined for the UK Discovery channelThe trailer makes a big deal of the fact there are only 15 registered RS Cosworth in the US.
Should have come back to Blighty because there are hundreds of them.

Edd is back with actual proper Edd type content! Yes it is sponsored, but it is hardly intrusive, and isn't a cringefest like the other stuff.

He wasn’t filming but flouced into the room wearing makeup looking like Elton John waiting for everyone to acknowledge his arrival. The people I was with had worked with him before and all tried to look busy as he worked the room looking for approval telling awful jokes while name dropping. From the few hours I spent their I would say it was Edd that got fed up him.
