I thought Bowfinger was OK, it was a step-up for both Murphy and Martin, as if the ststick had bene taken off their heads.

Clockwise is genius, I prefer it to AFCW, one of Cleese's best films

I don't know what it is about the film but I like it. I think its because most of it was filmed where I live so can recognize the parts in the film.
