The repeats shown on TV across Dave and C4 (E4Extra) seem to be shown in chronological order with E4 Extra currently being on the back end of season 6 (Tim Vine, Alive Levine etc) and I think Dave are back to series 1 and will never show the Morgana episodes as C4 hold all the rights to those. Also, does anyone know why the series with the lovely Morgana never seems to be shown as a repeat?
Best place to watch them is All4 as they have the lot on demand. That series with Morgana has one of the funniest moments I've ever seen in TM with Alan Davis and the wow monster

It's a podcast and not available on YT so you'll have to have Spotify or something but it's def worth a listen, she's hilarious and an absolute gem!

Frankie went off the boil about 10 years ago and just went a bit odd, lost what made him so unique and went down a weird route of being all self righteous which was the complete opposite of what he was. Being a funny stand up and a comedian doesn't necessarily translate to being funny in TM too so he could go either way. I hope he turns up and is funny AF but he's far from being a dead cert like the likes of Bob Mortimer was, as you say I think the studio will be his forte.
I think the opposite - Frankie went from pretty funny to great about 10 years ago. Some of his rambling, surreal, monologues on his chat show were great.Host and cast interviews up on Chortle:

Steady start, they tend to be though, especially in the studio.
Kiell is def my fave so far, Ivo is exactly as I expected him to be, Jenny didn't irritate me, Mae was quiet but competent and Frankie got my first actual laugh.
