Ferociously intelligent?
She tried to peel an egg with her feet
Overall on this series and again, also on House of Games, she has displayed quite the mind. She tried to peel an egg with her feet
The feet thing was funny though!
I think that may have been the worst episode of Taskmaster ever. It's not the contestants it was the tasks, run out of ideas I think.
Also the bowling ball gold shoes task said "You must stay off the grass unless you wear gold shoes" the green wasn't grass or AstroTurf, it was just green carpet. Simple solution just walk across with the ball and hit the bell. All of those DQ'd touched the real grass at the side.

It’s hard not to agree. The tasks were pretty flat but this can usually be offset by the overall vibe of the studio bits to balance it out a bit.
However there is just no studio chemistry with this series, they don’t interact with each other well or really give much for Greg and Alex to work with as comedians.
It’s the first series of TM where the realisation that there are only four episodes left is met with relief rather than sadness.
Let’s hope Series 16 has a better line up.

Every new episode i watch hoping they've gelled and it gears up but it just doesn't happen. I'm obvs going to watch it to the end but I think what I'm looking forward to most now is finding out who we get for series 16.... Maybe they need to sack their editors because the outakes above as well as this that was cut from last nights episode have been funnier than anything they've actually broadcast... https://twitter.com/taskmaster/status/165445212859...

The editing on TM is usually very well done and adds a huge amount to the programme.Maybe they need to sack their editors because the outakes above as well as this that was cut from last nights episode have been funnier than anything they've actually broadcast... https://twitter.com/taskmaster/status/165445212859...

The outtakes we have seen so far have been funnier than the programme material I agree.
Given how consistent it’s been as a show, it just seems odd to have faltered this time…maybe there was something going on behind the scenes or some other issues.

Can’t work them out…they are not female apparently
Mae Martin: "Hello! The way I feel about my gender identity is ongoing and evolving, and it’s personal, but I thought it might be good to say for clarity and in case anyone finds it helpful - I’m nonbinary, my pronouns are they/them. I’m very bisexual and attracted to people of all genders. I experience gender dysphoria sometimes - not always! - and have done since I was a tiny kid. When that dysphoria hits it sucks, and I find wearing a binder (the one in these photos is from a wicked company called @gc2b ) can sometimes help me feel more confident. Photo shoots can trigger these feelings, so in a recent press shoot with legends @josephsinclair and @society_makeup I tried to face the anxiety and do a few photos embracing wearing the binder rather than being embarrassed. These are those pics. Annnnyway, this aspect of my identity is just one part of me and not the main part at ALL, but I get asked about it a lot in interviews/by online people, and am often inaccurately referred to as a female comedian or a lesbian comedian, so I thought I’d just clarify. I haven’t been that clear publicly, or privately to some of my friends to be honest. That’s mainly because I’m still figuring it out. I thought I would be transparent, you know? Now I can just go back to talking about Bette Midler, corn, sloths, etc"andburg said:
Yeah sorry that’s wasn’t me being confused it was a correction that in reading didn’t come across very well.
No worries, I actually found that statement really interesting to read, and one of the pictures posted with it was of C3PO so they definitely have some kind of self-awareness of how they can come across sometimes!pincher said:
As has been said already - Ivo & Frankie are a good pairing, Jenny Eclair is, well, Jenny Eclair really - I’m rather ‘meh’ about her and Mae Martin is rather intriguing - can’t quite work her out.
That's because she is genuinely not funny, I've tried to like her in this series but she is honestly not funny at all (well to me anyways lol)ScotHill said:

Ugh, this is why I hate gender woo, she's a beautiful young woman who seems to believe her emotional and mental health struggles can be solved by identifying as something that doesn't exist. I mentioned it pages back about how I don't go in for all of this non-binary stuff as I see it as a coping mechanism and a way of people ignoring other genuine problems they have. All they're actually doing is making other people alter their language which has no actual effect on their reality and so it all seems a coercive nonsense to me.

What emotional and mental health struggles have they had? What other genuine problems have they had, and how are they ignoring them? How do you know that the language other people use has no actual effect on their reality, and that the they/their/non-binary vocabulary doesn't also change other people's views and expectations about them and thus make it easier for them to be themselves?I mentioned it pages back about how I don't go in for all of this non-binary stuff as I see it as a coping mechanism and a way of people ignoring other genuine problems they have. This is one of the most out-of-touch, narrow minded proprietorial things I've seen on PH for a long while and this is PH.I mentioned it pages back about how I don't go in for all of this non-binary stuff as I see it as a coping mechanism and a way of people ignoring other genuine problems they have. This one, simple adjustment by others can have a hugely positive effect on an individual's feeling of well being and connection.I mentioned it pages back about how I don't go in for all of this non-binary stuff as I see it as a coping mechanism and a way of people ignoring other genuine problems they have.
