I like it when Alex pulls his "Oh fk, I think we've injured a celebrity!" face.

Yep, laughed all through that one. The first two episodes were very "meh" but that really picked up... not sure if it's them all getting into the swing of audience-free studio bits as much as the tasks.

"Do you want me to hold the ladder?"

"No...have you had an accident that wasn't your fault?"

Not having seen an episode of this, I tuned in to this week's just to see what I'd been missing.

Answer, nothing whatsoever. Never seen such a load of drivel in all my life.

You need to watch the studio ones, with an audience. It's really suffered from not having them in the same room.

I promise, there is something for everyone in the early seasons.

Couldn’t be bothered to type it out!

Maybe you should try watching it before you criticise it?
Of course I’ve watched it. Why would I comment on something I’ve not seen? I wouldn’t have an opinion either way, would I.
Maybe you should think about what you are saying before you criticise others.

Most disappointing series so far as I’ve really enjoyed all the previous ones.

Sadly the episodes I’ve seen has been the guests just laughing at themselves. Zero audience needed as they wouldn’t be laughing either. Maybe they’ll get amusing people for the next series.

I think this series is still funny but agree they aren't the best bunch. Hopefully just a sign of the times and not that they are running out of choices.

I only know who one of these people is.
Edit - two people. I forgot about JV!

On paper the names they've got should have made for a brilliant series. But for whatever reason it just doesn't seem to be working. The only one I'm less aware of is Mawaan, and he's turned out to be one of the highlights.

The prize tasks have been dire and some of that has been down to what they've been set to bring in - too many "the best..." ones to start with. Greg also seems to be reverting too much to "this is what I've written down". He also seems utterly bereft of enthusiasm for most of it so far, and I don't blame him.

Agree the only one that wasn't previously known was Mawaan and he's been rather good.

Didn't care for Daisy May Cooper before, still don't.

The inside of Johnny Vegas' head must be a rather startlingly strange place.

Have been some highlights though, on the task where they had to move around in a rubber dinghy on wheel, the sight of Johnny rowing the air. Not to mention Katherine thinking that Mawaan(?) was actually hanging upside down like a bat.

Prize tasks have been unilaterally crap though, and the final round on the stage nothing special.

Still glad to see Greg channelling his inner Mr Gilbert.

For anyone disappointed with this series, start watching from the beginning on catch up, it's worth it. Things I'd forgotten, like series 1 where they set Josh W, *and only Josh W*, counting how many beans in a tin, then hoops, then grains of rice. The fury was palpable. rofl

Got to agree with a lot of what's been said above, it's still worth watching but it just seems a bit...flat. There are some genuinely very funny moments but only one or two per episode, the tasks are a bit uninspiring too but maybe they've been quite restricted with what they can do...

I'm enjoying it, It does lack a bit of atmosphere because of the lack of an audience, so it's just the panel laughing at each other but still good entertainment IMO

Richard Herring is pretty quiet in this.

Daisy May Cooper I was surprised that she comes across as basically identical to her This Country character, unless it is just her on screen persona!

Agree that Mawaan is one of the best in this series and didn't really know of him before.
