The Orville - Seth MacFarlane comedy Star Trek
Discussion
McFarlane and the team have done a good job capturing the kind of original ST feel, and not worried about the kind of "story arc" crap that befalls the official ST stuff these days.
I think its also partly, the very light, bright feel, which helps to offset (without diminishing) some of the dark story themes.
I think this second series is significantly better than the first series.

Enjoyed that two-parter, near the end, it reminded me a lot of the massive DS9 space battle against the Dominion, when the Cardassian's changed sides half way through.
Speaking of DS9, wasn't the doctor in The Orville Sisco's wife?
Only thing I didn't like was the relationship between the doctor and Issac, just seemed too ridiculous.

A 3 week break now apparently, which caught me out. According to http://thefutoncritic.com/showatch/orville/listing... there's 14 episodes in all this season, episode 12 "Sanctuary" airs on 11th April.
