The key word in the quoted post is "groups". Clearly different to demographic of those you mention.

The difference being all the examples given acted alone and not in groups of 12.

That's not quite true - there was collusion with other and a "blind eye" turned by the authorities, including the police.


The MO was different though - there was an interesting article linked earlier which contended that the "Rochdale Type" gangs (ie mainly Pakistani) operated on vulnerable post puberty girls in the main, whilst those operating on pre puberty younger kids where almost exclusively white.

One doesn't excuse the other, but a common theme is that the authorities really didn't give a fk about the kids, whoever was abusing them.
