Klingons are different? Check out the the differences between the Klingons in the Original series and the Next Gen.
That’s a poor argument. As that was more budget and make-up limitations.

And it wasn’t a TNG thing. Klingons in the Motion Picture looked like we then got in all the other proper Stat Trek films as well as TNG, DS9 and VOY. Even Enterprise. Where they had the backstory to explain how Klingons existed without the ridges on their heads due to genetic experiments they conducted with the human mutagens.

Pretty sure if you log in to netflix.co.uk you'll get uk content.
Using iPad app so that doesn't work, and tried going to the UK site in Safari and got the same result.
You will have to use a VPN app to hide your location, if your in the states and trying to access UK\European content it won't allow you, all down to distribution rights, etc.

Well we’re all entitled to our opinion. I prefer these new Klingons. Far more ‘Alien’ than the previous “stick-on forehead ridges” type. Love their brutality too, especially last nights example.
Seriously are you 5?

Far more alien.... rofl

He is yes Read back through the thread. He doesn’t like it and he’s going to watch it each week so that he can come back on here and tell us so...each week.

300bhp contentious....NEVER! wink

I'm surprised he hasn't suggested this series could be much improved by the inclusion of some sort of yank tank. biggrin

Netflix are quite good at detecting when you're using a VPN nowadays.

I’m guessing he still prefers his Klingons to look like this:

if you use iOS devices you also have to get around location services as that needs to be enabled for the apps to play now

I went back and checked after I saw the comment.

What annoys me about this programme:

- two chaps at the end of one episode, brushing their teeth. With electric toothbrushes, in the 24th century. Right.

- The spartan ship. Every HQ now has nice break out areas, plants, pictures etc etc. Are we supposed to believe that a science vessel in 400 years time on which people might spend years would be so clinical? Single beds with no covers on which you lie down fully clothed? Really?

- Tilly snoring. Oh come on that's practically curable now, let alone in 400 years time.

- talking about schooling using the current American system 'she tought first grade'. In the future schooling won't have advanced with pupils taught by AI and progressing at their own speed then?

- running round the ship wearing trainers from now. Look how far trainer design has progressed in the last 5 years. The adoption of bare foot runnning etc.

- in ten years time most cars will be autonomous but not a shuttle craft 400 years into the future?

I know I know it's just a TV series but I just find that lazy writing. Where's the new ideas? The things that make people think 'wow' like communicators, transporters and tricorders were on the first series?
