Sad, weird, taking advantage of weird lonely blokes. Abit like prostitution without sex.
Anyone seen this? Turned it off halfway through.

I watched quite a bit of it.. I put it mostly down to weird Japanese culture.. until near the end they feature a girl who was only 14! eek

edit - I think its mostly the people who make money from it taking advantage of both the Girls and the blokes!

Watched this today and thought it was very good. They have a very strange culture in Japan...

Saw this last night. Very weird. However, the perving over those 10 year old girls was too close to paedophilia than anything else. Uncomfortable viewing.

I'm guessing that this is not the Stacey Dooley programme that was on a little while back, which stated that child pornography was only outlawed very recently. The culture will persist for some while - but the authorities did appear to be cracking down.

No it was about the whole 'Idol' culture where teenage girls compete to enter into those massive music troops, and the (sometimes obsessive) fans that follow them. A lot of it looked harmless (but in some cases sad) but my skin crawled when they showed the 10yo girls doing the fan-meet.

I'm glad I missed the 10yr old bit. It just reinforces what I thought about the scene(?). The women all looked very young, innocent and naive on purpose. Virginial. Creepy as'.
