My thoughts/predictions:

Negan won't be killed, (i haven't read the comics), but know sort of what happens. They'll use Corals letter as way to justify it.

Gregory will die eventually, probably in some ridiculous way.

The 2 camps will merge (until the next series when they find another enemy).

'D' won't die, as Rick will turn up to save him at the right time.

We'll see a brief glimpse of the helicopter again.

Are you still getting scripts, despite your character being killed off years ago? wink

It's like finding out what's going on with a deranged relative, without having to deal with said relative

Curiously that was almost written as if it was a final episode of the show, if series 9 doesn't get filmed.

Just saying.

Well that exceeded all my expectations, well no - bit of an anticlimax for a 3 series story.

As for next series battle, come on? 5 years through think and thin and it’s handbags at dawn over that...

Bobbings, hopefully next series they’re open their wallets for some better writing.

I'm just glad they followed the comic storyline by locking Negan up.

I thought it was a decent end. Agree it felt more like the end of the series forever as no usual cliffhanger ending. It carried over almost immediately to Fear The Walking Dead. I’m hoping that doesn’t just become a full on extension though, as I was enjoying it as a series in its own right.

I can well believe that, it just had that finality around the end. It’s been renewed for multiple seasons already so I know it’s not done.

I must admit I enjoyed it, just watching the first episode of the new series of FTWD.

It’s an interesting start to the new FTWD season, I expect that to jump back in time a little now to explain how they got there.

I asked a couple of weeks ago and was completely ignored. Is FTWD only available with BT?

I buy the seasons from Amazon Video because, as far as I know, you can only watch it with a BT package otherwise.

Yes - or torrent of course.

Would someone care to break the season down to a paragraph? Just for those of us who gave up after the first few A-Team episodes of the season.

I didn't even know they were on there.

It says something about my general opinion of amazon video that I never look at it. My missus finds all kinds of toss on there...

Its worth watching if you’ve got this far. This first half of the season involves a load of weird stuff that makes little sense, until the last episode of that half. The second half starts with the single most painful episode ever with Coral’s dragged out and over dramatic death. Then it gets pretty good and I really enjoyed the second half, much more like TWD of old.

What did it mean when they stopped in that field and looked across to the horizon, then said something along the lines of 'that's the biggest we've seen yet'? I even rewound and paused on it to see what they were looking at, but am still none the wiser
