What's the worst film you ever saw at the cinema?
Discussion
So many terrible films in a lifetime of a cinema addict...One that would come very near the top would be that overhyped tat, The Wicker Man . It had a budget of £2-99 and none of it was spent on a decent scriptwriter; the acting was by numbers (but Woodward and Lee did the best they could ) and the film was a cheap as chips support film (in the days when you got the main feature and a warm up ). It was disposable , forgettable pap until some slacker saw it on afternoon telly when they should have been at lectures and , with aid of a spliff , convinced themselves it was art. It wasn't.

When I started reading this I was agreeing and trying to think of a bee pun, but the original version!?coppice said:

La La Land. - the only movie I've actually just got up ad walked out from. Over-hyped, self-indulgent Hollywood ste. And I love musicals more than a gay man.
Loathe musicals but just loved this ! But forget the hype label-every single film is hyped, or publicised to use a less judgemental term. That's (retch) the business we call show. And hype is the term invariably assigned to a film one doesn't like . God knows, Skyfall was awash with publicity but nobody who enjoyed it ever said it was overhyped . Cue somebody who did ...
