The differential between marks is bizarre.

How can judges see such different things ?

Each have their own view of different aspects in the dance.

Debbie's very good. Anyone would think she'd danced professionally before rolleyes

Aston, Debbie and Alexandra for me at the moment, but not sure in which order. Never warmed to Brendan, his routine did his partner no favours. Simon and Brendan's partner in the dance off, Brendan to go because he's a dick.

Debbie's dance was balletic.

Funny that.

Is every mention of Debbie McGee going to bleat on about previous dance experience? So what, she doesn't make the rules nor does she decide on the criteria for invitation. They asked her on, she's doing her best, so what if she danced 30-odd years ago - should she have refused her invitation?

The whole idea of the show is pro-celebrity dancing. She was a professional dancer. She's on the wrong side of the equation to be a celebrity, in my opinion. Feel free to hold a different opinion.

Was 30-odd years ago. She's also a celebrity and is not known because of her dancing. I wish her well.

She has danced much more recently than 30 years ago.

A few years ago there was a programme on television about Paul Daniels and Debbie which showed her getting back into dancing and trying to put on dance shows.

Plenty of the celebs have some dance/stage school experience. Where would your draw the line, it's only entertainment FFS. Denise Van Wossername won a few yrs ago.

I'm sure JLS, The Saturdays and Burke have never done any dance choreography.

No she didn't.

I wouldn't let someone take part if they had worked as a professional dancer. I know it is only entertainment but it gives her (Debbie) a massive advantage over someone with zero experience.

We see this argument every year and it will always matter to some but not to others.

Well quite. Don't think the two in the dance off should have been there, they weren't the worst.

As to previous dance experience - so what, it's light hearted weekend entertainment, it's hardly the Olympics or a million dollar prize that's on offer. Just enjoy it for what it is: a bit of fun.

Certainly was. yes

Of the two, I think it was the right choice despite Brian's gag about cha-cha followed by car-car (which made Craig burst out laughing) showing he didn't expect to go through.

They were by no means the worst.

The whole start of his routine on the raised platform was out of step & time with his partner. It was as though he'd forgotten the first 30 seconds of the routine & just did something. Ok, neither couple were the worst dancers but in the dance off Chizzy was better in my view.
