Accessing BBC iPlayer from outside the UK

I use Express VPN and some of their UK servers can access it.

It seems BBC iPlayer is now actively blocking connections from VPNs.

This article ( BBC iPlayer not working with your VPN? Here's how to fix that) explains the problem well. Essentially, VPNs are funnelling all their customers through the same servers and IP addresses. Which makes it easy to blacklist.

The answer is to get a VPN that lets you buy a dedicated IP too. PureVPN is the best, apparently.

I’m still with Unotelly since they fixed the original blocking. Over the last couple of weeks it’s been blocked but fixed in a day or so.
Looks like ITV are geo blocking now as I can no longer access that.

Netflix has just started working again through a VPN.

What has changed?
