I'm genuinely gutted that Jo Whiley isn't going to be on 8-10pm any more though as that was my evening listening instead of crap on TV....
I looked hard to see the "Steve Wright is being tossed out of the building" story though...

I don't know what photographs Wright has in his possession, or who's in them, but they must be spectacularly deviant.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-42633...

I can't work out why Jo Whiley would need to join up with Simon Mayo, as I thought he was doing a cracking job pretty much on his own (with a few sidekicks).
Shame the extra hour is later rather than earlier as I could do with something to fill the void between Radcliffe & Maconie ending at 4.00 on 6Music and Simon Mayo starting at 5.00. Steve Lamacq is too Indie shoegazing and I can't stand Steve Wright.
I am preferring Sara Cox to Chris Evans, he appears to be taking more and more holidays/ sickies - I wonder if he's getting bored of it? Like the manchild that he is, he does have a knack of striving to get something big, doing it and getting bored of it.

Part of the relentless and unstoppable BBC equality drive no doubt, in view of the gender pay gap "scandal"Special mention on the 1pm news that they're both being paid the same
Shame. Mayo is fine on his own and Whiley just doesn't suit day time.

I don't get this either. They go on to mention equal pay as if it's a good thing, it's not because they are paying for 2 premium DJ's in a single show!I was beside myself with excitement when I saw Jo was being moved because I assumed she was replacing Steve, then I read it and I don't get it.
