Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls

pescatarian. His attitude to food isn't any different to every other human's attitude to food. But I think they probably should have listened to the vegetarian, who did think the meat eaters should eat meat.
the pete character was a useful person but he was very very selfish.
when bear rocked up on the shore and all the 'celebs' are there...who was that guy with specs in the hat?

Wasn't the other vegetarian Jo Wood? I was impressed by her too - never whining, always cheerful, typical I suppose of the older generation who just roll up their metaphorical sleeves and get on with it.
The doctor is a muslim yet she didn't have any objections to the others killing and eating the pig.

In all other respects he impressed me as much as anyone else. I was expecting a typical reality-show snowflake, but he was positive, industrious and reasonably practical. I say reasonably, because his attitude towards his starving colleagues was as self-centred as you can get.
Having said that he was constantly doing something, ignoring lassitude and finding jobs or tasks to keep him occupied. The vegan "holier than thou" spoilt it all for me.
Yeah I thought I would hate him but he seemed alright, other than the the food thing. Pescataerians and Vegans can be a pain in the arse. Like religion they have to share their thoughts with everyone and dont like it when people disagree. Without Crackers and Pete they wouldn't have done half as well. Jo was good at getting on with basic things, Kemp was like the camp counselor but not much cop at the practical stuff and Roberts wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes if he was on his Todd.
Applications close for the non celeb version soon. I think I would do ok surviving on a island, but not with other people. I would have to fk off and set up camp on my own :-)
Just caught up on the last few episodes - absolutely loved the irony of the veggie hanging the pig, then the absurdity of it's sea burial whilst they're all staving (glad Bear took that up with them in the review show), followed by the hypocrisy of hunting for fish and then instant-karma with the pork-eating shark having a go at the veggie, which he then stabbed and ate
