As least everyone is expecting this film to be crap (like every film after T2). Ghostbusters could have been good, but instead took a huge steaming dump on the original.

It also seems a bit stupid for the feminists to be targeting films which appeal to teenage boys, and middle aged men who like the franchise. What's wrong with using the girl power stuff for chick flicks. I'm sure it would get a more positive audience response.

Wow, the author of that HollywoodReporter piece ready hates men doesn't he.............he? Yeap, a bloke wrote that utter drivel.

The only thing he got right was that Sarah Conner is rightly the focus of the 1st two films and those films cemented her into popular culture as one of the best "strong" female leads I've seen in cinema. Everything else he said was guff however and shows an utter lack of understanding of the other characters in those films.
