I'm currently hooked on Kenrick JBL insanely expensive restorations https://www.youtube.com/user/hosoken007

And for some unknown reason I keep going back to Piper Blush https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCImh042Sqo5MilDYy...

Ha- yea "unknown" reason. Her channel slipped into my recommendations and being a red-blooded male I checked out a few of her videos. Now I regularly get recommendations for other 'try-on haul' videos hehe

8-bit Keys and The 8-bit Guy - same guy who used to be "The I-Mac guy" and now does reviews of old tech and keyboards, + interesting restoration videos of said hardware.

Budget Builds UK-based PC nut who builds working systems for ridiculous cheap money - he "PC for 50p" video is well worth a watch.

Finnegan's Garage Mike Finnegan of Roadkill/MTOD's own channel; really interesting collection of American-focused modding and hot rodding, including his V8-powered speedracer boat.

Hagerty Official channel of the Official American Classic Car authority; their "Barn Finders" series is especially cool.

Hickok45 Alabama (or maybe Kentucky) gun nut who gives really insightful weapon reviews.

Internet Comment Etiquette with Erik Hilarious guy who pretends to give insightful advice on how to be courteous and pleasant when leaving comments on the internet, but often doesn't end up that way.

A masterclass in dealing with the British police.
The guy certainly has balls and I suspect is actually quite intelligent (underneath the thuggish persona)

Three pages in and no mention of AvE! Holy-o-fk. AvE's magic wand teardown Plenty of serious reviews as well, he's a smart cookie no doubt but very funny with it.

I like watching the Dead Mall Series by Dan Bell

https://www.youtube.com/user/moviedan

He visits American malls in the death throws, and just walks around. Doesn't sound particularly exciting but I find them mesmerising.

I enjoy South Main Auto

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtAGzm9e_liY7ko1P...

Diagnosis & repair of mostly run-of-the-mill US and Asian cars. Eric is a bit like a laid-back New York version of Edd China. Everything from tracking down an intermittent misfire to fixing brakes.

Surely this thread is for sharing worthwhile, interesting and quality Youtube content and not for videos of overweight, chavvy morons (who sounds far from intelligent to me and simply repeats the same crap over and over) trying to be a bigman and being rude and disrespectful to the police for no apparent reason.

I subscribe to and enjoy many different automotive and aviation channels, but my overall favourite is without doubt the Slow Mo Guys. The footage these guys get is so good and they are great personalities to boot; I thoroughly enjoy every upload!

Eric the Car Guy is good for the DIY mechanic, although his big project car seems to have been a bit more than he could chew and it's all got a bit depressing recently.
Yes, the infamous "Fairmont Project" became a bit of a quagmire for him. Still a decent channel though & it has been going years.

Other car-related channels I like include: "B is for Build", "Nick Murray", "Hoovies Garage" & "ChrisFix".

History related stuff I follow includes, "The Great War" channel, which has been following the events of WW1 week by week, 100 years on. It's really good.

"Forgotten Weapons" is also excellent, as is sister channel "InRangeTV".

Bad Obsession Motorsport - Project Binky - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHvBHWBzzB7NyU5tI...

The continuing adventures of two affable nutters trying to fit a Toyota Celica into a Mini.
Great channel, just a shame you have to wait what feels like a year between updates.
Be careful how loud you complain, both of the guys (somewhat unsurprisingly) are PHers.

+1 for Roadkill, and to be honest the rest of the stuff on the motortrend channel is good. Really enjoyed low rider role models.

CGP Grey & Kurzgesagt do some great animated educational videos. Vox and Vice are good too. I enjoy the stuff on donut media too.

Absolute pinnacle at the moment is Oats Studio. Stunning short movies.

Some really good suggestions so far in this thread, so I thought I would add a few of my favourites.

Pure Living for Life - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChhBsM9K_Bc9a_YTK...
A couple building an off-grid homestead pretty much single-handedly while producing daily content (most of the time)
Really great to follow there journey and learn stuff along the way.

Ed Pratt - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuNy42Y5egf07cSiH...
What a legend this guy is, he is riding a unicycle around the world and making videos of his experience and the people he meets. Such a great character with endless enthusiasm.

Finding Simon - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzOdwGHROHbeJgJgx...
He started out travelling around U.S.A in a camper van with his dog champ, he then bought a motorbike with a sidecar and travelled up to Vancouver and has bought a boat that he is now fixing the boat and making seaworthy. Great filmmaking skills and a real down to earth guy following his dreams.

Vinwiki - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCefl-5pmhZmljwZTE...
Only recently found this one its a bunch of petrolheads telling their most crazy stories, lots of running away from cops, crashing Lambos, cannonball run stories etc. entertaining stuff
