Harrison moves into Pole Position in my book. He was very confident when pitching. Other than that I think he's ineffectual - which is good enough to stand him head and shoulders above the rest of them.
Elizabeth is the dark horse, I think his Lordship has a soft spot for her.

She has been hanging on for weeks with no real business skills but has survived by virtue of keeping her head down when someone even more st than her found themselves in the sights. Always quick to stand behind a good idea and bask in the glory of success but even quicker to distance herself from a bad decision after the fact.
Senior manager material biggrin

I thought she was reasonably competent. She didn't come across as UltimateSuperDuperBiznessPerson but very few of them do, and it's hard to say how much of that is down to the editing.

I'd much much rather work with her than Joanne who seems to have a permanent look of contempt / sneer etched on her face.

I thought Elizabeth was ridiculous at first and i suppose she still is. She is certainly a character.

However she is the only one which strikes me as a 'boss'. The others are all workers, awaiting their next command, or they think they can do things but fk them up badly and don't want to take any responsibility.

I don't think she can win though, she was saying that she will deliver an extra £1m of turnover over the next 18mths out of an already running business. I doubt lord would be interested in that little amount and i can only assume its her existing shops she wants to make national/regional.
That said she may well have a 60% margin. I don't know but to him its probably not enough.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Elizabeth pop up on telly from time to time after this series (assuming she doesn't win), she's the sort of daft bat that some programmes would welcome on.

She has a personality, the rest would be outshone by cardboard.

Seems really common really in business brand names and zilch to do with the Catholic v Muslim war /Richard the lion heart era.
Perhaps, but I'm amazed the PC BBC allowed it.

Why does Michaela not wear the comedy specs during the tasks ?

Spotted this last week too.

Saves them for the boardroom...confused
Probably because the walk of shame is shot at the start of the series and maybe she wore them for it, so has to wear them in the boardroom incase she gets fired for continuity.
I imagine it went something like:

Day 1:
Michaela: Ok then, I'm gonna wear these fake glassis coz they make me look sooper sofisticated, yeah
Producers: That's up to you, but just remember whatever you wear for filming today you need to wear in every future boardroom
Michaela: Yeah yeah, but they make me look sooper sofisticated

Day 2 (back at the house):
Michaela: Hey guys, why are so many of yous wearing weird glassis
Other housemates: tumbleweed
Michaela: Oh bugger

They’ve really cocked up the walk of shame this year, the loser leaves in a coat and scarf while at the house it’s shorts and t-shirts all round hehe

Why don’t they just film the walk of shame with the rest of the programme?

They film it first for some reason. I guess so people don't refuse to do it?

being chased out of an industrial estate by a camera crew would be far more entertaining to watch!

On the trip in the taxi,

I'm sure a few of the weeks have made a reference to the task.. which wouldn't have been known at the start of the series..

Last night, did bushra not say "Sarah threw me under the bus" or some thing? Do we think the producers had her say the same thing about all the others, so they can edit in the required one?

And I'm sure a few weeks back there was quite a specific reference to the task mentioned in the taxi.

Michaela annoys me even more than Elizabeth, i think its just the accent, but it makes me want to punch her in the face when ever she speaks....

PHer GI Jnr was on the show years ago (Tuan) and explained a lot of the production bits if you want to scroll back through his posts.

Elizabeth (weird lab experiment/bd love child of Olive from On The Buses and Miranda Hart) odds-on to win, methinks.
