Snowfall on iplayer

This has been a brilliant show. We binged last season over last few days, no spoilers but its really good in my opinion. From start to finish this show has been consistent, the character development, the sub plots, its been one of the best series I've watched. Actually thinking of going back and watching them all again.

totally agree. I'd liken it as the west coast version of "the wire''. Not sure higher praise is possible...
Just finished this. Excellent final season and gripping throughout.
Loved the period details like electro hip hop - massive in LA/West Coast in the early-mid 80s like 'Play That Beat' was a big tune back in the day. Being a car forum who wasn't impressed by Peugeot 505 making an appearance?!
Also liked the meta-nod to John Singleton at the end "They're filming a movie" in SCLA.
Personally I think it would have have been better if Franklin turned into a crackhead at the end.

Just finished the last episode of the season. Amazing series from beginning to end. Wonder what the British actor who played Franklin will go on to do next.
Think he's in new motor racing/F1 film w/ Brad Pitt - pretty sure I saw a pic of him at the Brit GP recently filming. Haven't checked online though as I'm avoiding any Snowfall related spoilers as I've not watched the final season yet.

Binged all seasons over the last few weeks. Brilliant series. I’m not got told to watch it a few weeks ago, not sure how I had missed it!!
Favourite character…Reed/Teddy. Brilliant facial acting and had some cracking lines.
Teddy and his brother were my favourite characters. Avi was also brilliant, over the top lunatic. Really liked Skully too. But, I'm splitting hairs here. They were all brilliant, hard to pick a favourite Favourite character…Reed/Teddy. Brilliant facial acting and had some cracking lines.
Brilliant final season, some fantastic episodes. Really enjoyed it and agree that he should have ended up a crack addict. Having the source of all his money bring him down would complete the cycle. Although I understand succumbing to the bottle like his Dad also works.
After his performance in Snowfall, I think he could pull it off.

I wouldn't be surprised if Damson Idris is in the running for the next Bond. He's young enough to have a good run as Bond and old enough to be convincing. After his performance in Snowfall, I think he could pull it off.
Following on from the comments on here I've discovered all seasons of Snowfall are in iPlayer so I've started on Season 1. I hope they're on there long enough for me to watch them all. the first 'Pilot' episode piqued my interests, although it appears several storylines are taking place concurrently with the backstory of the US funded Nicuraguan Contras?

There are indeed many subplots and huge character development throughout because of this. Seriously, I think this is one of the best television series I've ever seen. Not a bad season. entropy said:

If my memory serves me correctly, the very first scene of Snowfall opened with an aerial shot down a palm-tree lined LA street; I think the same shot was used to open the equally brilliant Boys In The Hood. Also, in the first or second series there is a blue Beetle Cabrio parked in the street; that too is a nod to Boys In The Hood. I think Tre or his dad Furious Styles drive one. Also liked the meta-nod to John Singleton at the end "They're filming a movie" in SCLA.
Snowfall has been unbeatable; I'm now about to start the last series and will happily go through it all again.

Edit to say, I'll have to rewatch start to finish, as I kept forgetting what happened in the series before.
