All of series 5 now showing on iplayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b0991bqd/sn...
I really enjoyed the first four seasons and was looking forward to series 5. I'm half-way through it now and am slowly getting more disappointed with it.
There's some real 'jumped the shark' moments which stretch incredulity (that whole episode with the tiger - WTF?).
Overall, the acting and cinematography are still good, and I'll stick with it to the end, however it's kinda run its course for me.

Season 5 started off as excellent then second half of this season went off and didn't work for me either but then came good at the end. Felt like the were struggling to fill a 10 episode season.
Glad they are finishing it off next season as I was already feeling a 7th would be too much of a stretch.

Always hard to end a series, but I enjoyed that a lot.
I like how almost no-one got out with a happy ending - except, arguably, Osso and, less so, Leon.
The torture scenes came across really well - I was scared for both Teddy and Louie.
Such an underated show imo. Surprised one of the larger streaming services hadn't picked it up. Its a great crossover between Power and Narcos.
