Punisher S2 episode 1, 2, 3 were terrific

just watched episode 4 yesterday and what the hell happened? did they run out of ideas and money making the first 3 episodes?

Please tell me it gets back on form for the rest of the series.

Aaaaand I’m done!

Really enjoyed that.

Back to S3 Daredevil now, it’s not as good as S1&2 though is it frown
It's not baaaad... just drags a little. Season 1 and 2 are much better crafted.

Me being me, I had to watch the Marvel stuff mostly in the correct order. The only one I haven't seen is Iron Fist Season 2... Hmmm, I might just check the out this weekend.

I’m the same hehe
I’ve made it to episode 5 and I’m thinking ‘why am I watching this’

It’s dragging and the girl is doing my head in. She’s in it just to give Castle something to do.
I’m not sure I can even carry on.

I liked it but found the story lines a bit crap and it would have been nice to either follow one or entwine them both more

I thought they didn't do a great deal with The Pilgrim, which was a shame as he was a great actor and clearly had more to offer.

I think it was a mistake having Russo in the season; he went from being a credible threat in S1 to a whiny little bh in this one. Season arc should have been Castle vs Pilgrim, huge battle at end with high body count but with the unexpected twist of them making peace.

It will probably come at no surprise but Netflix have cancelled The Punisher and Jessica Jones.

Nope, no surprise... it mentions Marvel hinting at the shows returning on Hulu with different actors. Pessimistic I’d be up for that... the whole look and feel would be different I’d imagine.
We’ll see what in house productions Netflix create next.

"There is a chance that the superhero characters will return with new shows on Hulu or Disney+, but it won’t be the same actors or stories."

THat's a real shame. I've not seen the PUnisher, but from what I've read, he is the character from the comics brought to life, which is the first time! Plus, these actors, they've done their best and from what I gather done the characters proud.
Loeb may be in charge of Marvel TV, but the Hulu/Disney+ stuff falls under Feig's remit. I wonder who has charge of these characters at MArvel....how it works? IMO PUnisher is a-list, and should be in the MCU

Yes I'm fairly up to date on what is going on, I've followed this for years.
WHat is less known and what I referenced, are how properties get handled between the two Marvel honchos.
I know that She-HUlk, Namor and the HUlk all have issues. Feig missed out with DC getting Aquaman to screen first.

Not particularly bothered whether it’s more superhero stuff or not... just as long as it’s quality. I’ve read here that Titans is decent, I’ll check it out once I’ve got a few other series out the way... I don’t like having too much stuff on the go.

Only just finished watching season 2. I liked the show. As mentioned on this thread, noted on the internet news today that it’s being killed off. Shame, I’d have carried on watching it.

I really liked S1, I love the lone wolf comes back and kicks ass against the baddies, like John Wick and Porter in Payback.

However S2 is tough going. OK start in ep 1-3, but I'm on ep7 now and have lost the will to live with it. WTF happened to the plot, it's just characters and stuff with little point to it. Can't say I'm surprised it's been cut.
