Am up to episode 3 - what was the song in this with the words "red, white and blue"? I assume it's the Boss, but I don't know it?
The White Buffalo - Wish It Was True
I've listened to this song and it's a great song - Some of his other stuff is good too.

Am up to episode 9 - it's building nicely....

Just finished. Holy crap that was intense! Will spoiler...

The last fight scene with Russo was fking brutal - not many things make me wince on tv but when he scraped his face down that broken mirror, screaming!!! Holy st that was brutal.

Yep, there are a few moments like that that made me wince too but on the context of the story as was actually say ohhh fk out loud I thought yessss...
Couple of questions that I don't think are spoilers but tagged just in case

Not too familiar with the Marvel universe. Was Russo an established marvel Villain? The scene at the end with the guy with bandages, Is that a future obvious Marvel villain if so who?

I've just read up on it - Russo is, in the Marvel Universe, Jigsaw - who is a nemesis of the punishmer

I haven't watched to the end so far so don't know how that'll pan out...

I thought the same thing and we're not the only one but in answer to your questions.... be warned those still watching, definite spoilers!

I'm not as convinced as some of you. I thought they did a really good job of the story and had a decent run at introducing and developing characters. It was brutal but I didn't have the same reaction as some of you.

What really pulled me out of the story in the latter episodes was the ridiculous healing times and and disappointing last fight sequence.
I’d agree with the ridiculous healing times, Frank wasn’t just dishing it out and but taking it too. The main characters would’ve been out of commission for weeks. It was still a strong well written series so I could get passed that.
finished the last two episodes, last night, bloomin nora, brutal!! I like to pretend that days perhaps weeks have passed re the healing time!

Re healing times, all valid points if this was a Reacher or Rambo story but its set in a world populated by super heros with special powers etc and although Frank doesnt have any himself(I think) I can forgive a little poetic licence here and there

I finished it earlier this week.

Without any spoilers;
Good - he has a life, not just Punishing people.
Bad - too much life, not enough Punishing.

Also, Russo, ex special forces, but doesn't look like he's lifted anything heavier than a hair brush.

Yes, healing times. I wish I could heal that quick.

You don't need to be incredibly muscly to be special forces. And he was pretty ripped in the scenes you could see.

I thought it was the "done" thing in the US special forces, unlike elsewhere.

He would've never made it through basic training for the Marines, nevermind anything more specialist.

Such absurdly generalised comments. How the hell do you know if he'd have made it through?

Chuck Norris isn't exactly a beefcake but he's not what you'd call soft.

This is an absurd discussion anyway, but not a single one of you can say that he couldn't be special forces with his build. Not one.

That's someone who's never done anything physical in his life. Poor casting, same as with Danny Rand in Iron Fist, but at least he's not the lead.

FFS I had to go look at this bloke with all this jibba habba.

Ben Barnes, he looks like a stick, was Prince Caspian in the god fantasy films, will have to wait until I watchthis bloody show before real comment...and I see we have a new cabinet being installed near the house...so I'm getting fibre...one day

I really enjoyed this series.

I haven't managed to stick with any other Marvel series but I really liked the character (new to me) and Jon Bernthal is excellently cast in the role. Great TV.

I've finished all this and the last two were brutal and brilliant

However - I felt that Frank should have gone in for dinner and I was dissapointed that we didn't see that much of Karen, I genuinely thought they might have connected more but maybe that's for the next season...
